Abstract

Ruang praktik di Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro (DPTE) Fakultas Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan (FPTK) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) memiliki beberapa permasalahan diantaranya adalah terbatasnya jumlah peralatan praktik yang digunakan untuk kegiatan praktikum diruang praktik DPTE, adanya keterbatasan ruang dikarenakan ruang praktik yang kecil membuat proses pembelajaran kurang optimal. Ruang praktik terasa sempit dengan kebutuhan dari sirkulasi alur kegiatan praktikum yang dilaksanakan di ruang praktik kurang maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kondisi dan ketersediaan sarana prasarana diruang praktik di DPTE FPTK UPI dan mengetahui sirkulasi dari alur kegiatanpraktikum berdasarkan sarana dan prasarana yang terdapat diruang praktik DPTE FPTK UPI. Ketersediaan dianalisis berdasarkan standar sarana dan prasarana serta sirkulasi yang telah tetapkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengamatan (observasi), wawancara (in depth interview) dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan komponen reduksi (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan kesimpulan (drawing verification). Data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang bermacam–macam (triangulasi), yaitu: sumber, teknik dan waktu. Pada penelitian ini mengambil tempat ruang praktik DPTE FPTK UPI yaitu Laboratorium Elektronika Dasar dan Penunjang, Laboratorium Elektronika Industri, Laboratorium Telekomunikasi, dan Laboratorium Teknik Tenaga Listrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kondisi dan ketersediaan sarana ruang praktiksetelah ditinjau dari 4 unsur pendukung sarana yaitu 1) media pendidikan, 2) perabot, 3) peralatan, dan 4) perlengkapan lainnya sudah menunjang untuk kegiatan praktikum. Kondisi dan ketersediaan prasarana ruang praktik DPTE FPTK UPI yang ditinjau dari 2 unsur pendukung prasarana yaitu, luas ruang dan instalasi daya belum terpenuhi, dikarenakan untuk pemerataan luas per ruang belum terpenuhi. Sirkulasi alur kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh lima pengguna ruang diruang praktik, terdapat 3 (tiga) laboratorium yang kurang sesuai dengan kebutuhan ruang gerak pengguna dan 1(satu) laboratorium yang sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan ruang gerak pengguna;---The practice room in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education (DPTE) of the Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education (FPTK) of Indonesia University of Education (UPI) has several problems including the limited number of practical equipment used for practicum activities in the DPTE practice room, limited space constraints due to practice space makes the learning process less optimal. The practice room feels narrow with the needs of the circulation flow of practicum activities which was done in the practice room is less than optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition and availability of infrastructure facilities in the practice room at the DPTE FPTK UPI and find out the circulation flow of practicum activities based on the facilities and infrastructure in the practice room of the DPTE FPTK UPI. Availability was analyzed based on facilities and infrastructure standards and the circulation that has been set. The research method used is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interview (in depth interviews) and documentation. Data analysis techniques with component reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display), and conclusion (drawing verification). Data was obtained from various sources using various data collection techniques (triangulation), namely: source, technique and time. this study took place the practice room of the DPTE FPTK UPI namely the Basic Electronics and Supporting Laboratory, the Industrial Electronics Laboratory, the Telecommunication Laboratory, and the Electric Power Engineering Laboratory. The results showed that the conditions and availability of productive practice room facilities after being reviewed from 4 supporting elements of the facilities, namely 1) educational media, 2) furniture, 3) equipment, and 4) other equipment are already support for practicum activities. The condition and availability of infrastructure in the practice room of the DPTE FPTK UPI which is viewed from the 2 supporting infrastructure elements, namely, the extent of space and power installation has been fulfilled, but there is an area that is not fulfilled per area. Circulation of activity flow carried out by five users of the room in the productive practice room, there are 3 (three) laboratories that are not in accordance with the user's mobile space requirements and 1 (one) laboratory that is in accordance with the user's mobile space requirements.
