Abstract

Terdapat berbagai model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Umumnya guru menerapkan model pembelajaran teacher centered yaitu salah satunya metode pembelajaran ceramah. Kondisi belajar menggunakan metode ceramah dapat membuat suasana menjadi membosankan, sehingga dapat menurunkan konsentarasi siswa dalam memperhatikan materi pelajaran. Selain itu siswa akan sulit berkembang serta pasif karena siswa malas untuk berpikir sehingga rendahnya dalam kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tepat, salah satunya dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini memaparkan tentang penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMK. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Mengetahui pelaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran PBL. (2) Mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa setelah melaksanakan model pembelajaran PBL. (3) Mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi dan solusi yang dilakukan dalam model pembelajaran PBL. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 5 Bandung pada kelas X DPIB mata pelajaran Dasar-dasar Konstruksi Bangunan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes berbentuk esai dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian melalui hasil uji N-gain, uji hipotesis dan hasil observasi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, pada penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMK. ;--- There are various learning models that can be applied during the learning process. Generally, teachers apply a teacher-centered learning model is one of the methods of teaching lectures. Learning conditions by using lecture methods can make the condition becomes bored, so it can reduce the students’ concentration in paying attention to the subject matter. In addition, students will be difficult to develop himself as well as passive because students are lazy to think and low in the creative thinking ability. In order to improving students' creative thinking ability, it can be done with the use of appropriate learning model, one of them can be used with Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This research describes the implementation of Problem Based Learning model of learning to improve vocational students creative thinking skills. The purposes to be achieved in this research are: (1) to know the implementation of the application of PBL learning model. (2) to know the improvement of students' creative thinking ability after implementing PBL learning model. (3) to know the obstacles that found and the solutions that made in the PBL learning model. The method in this research is to use quasi-experiment with quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SMKN 5 Bandung in classroom X DPIB on Building Construction Fundamentals subjects . The instrument used in this research is essay-test and observation.Based on the results of the research through N-gain test results, hypothesis testing and observation results during the learning process took place, on the implementation of PBL learning model can improving students' creative thinking skills SMK.
