Abstract

Penelitian ini berkenaan tentang proses belajar mengajar di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan DPTS FPTK UPI. Persepsi mahasiswa dan dosen ketika proses belajar mengajar adakalanya terdapat perbedaan, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran umum persepsi mahasiswa tentang proses belajar mengajar di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan, untuk mengetahui gambaran umum persepsi dosen tentang proses belajar mengajar di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan persepsi mahasiswa dan dosen tentang proses belajar mengajar di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan DPTS FPTK UPI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode expose facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif. Adapun populasi penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan dan dosen yang mengajar di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling dengan bantuan Nomogram Harry King, sehingga didapat jumlah keseluruhan sampel 118 responden. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup dengan skala likert, dengan hasil penelitian dapat ditafsirkan bahwa persepsi dosen positif sangat tinggi dan mahasiswa positif tinggi, hal ini diungkapkan berdasarkan persentase indikator penelitian yang terdiri dari persiapan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penutup pembelajaran, pemberian tugas dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapat nilai rata-rata persepsi mahasiswa 3.00 dengan persentase 74,89%. Sedangkan persepsi dosen memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,41 dengan persentase 85,35%. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan persepsi mahasiswa dan dosen tentang proses belajar mengajar di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangungan DPTS FPTK UPI ;---The study was conducted on students and lecturers in program study of building engineering education. Students and lecturers 'perceptions when teaching and learning process sometimes there are differences, so this study aims to find out the general overview of student and lecturers perceptions of teaching and learning process in program study of building engineering education and to measure the difference of perception between students and lecturers conserning teaching to learning process in in Program Study of building engineering education civil engineering department, faculty of technology and vocational skill education, Indonesia university of education. This research uses expositional facto method with comparative quantitative approach. The population of this study is students in program study of building engineering education and lecturers who teach in program study of building engineering education. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling technique with the help of Harry King's Nomogram, so that the total sample of 118 respondents can be obtained. Instrument of data collection using closed questionnaire with likert scale, then the result of research could be interpreted that lecturer's perception is very high positive while the student’s perception is high positive it is obtained based on percentage of research indicator consisting of preparation of learning, learning implementation, learning closing, and giving of learning evaluation. Based on the results of research, obtained the average value of student perceptions of 3.00 with a percentage of 74.89%. While the lecturers' perception obtained an average value of 3.41 with the percentage of 85.35%. The result of this research is there is difference of perception between student and lecturer about teaching and learning process in Program Study of building engineering education civil engineering department, faculty of technology and vocational skill education, Indonesia university of education.
