Abstract

Distribusi kemampuan kategori sangat rendah sebanyak 12 peserta (31%), rendah sebanyak 5 peserta (14%), sedang sebanyak 9 peserta (24%), tinggi sebanyak 5 peserta (11%) dan sangat tinggi sebanyak 6 peserta (16%). Kata Kunci : Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT), Item Response Theory (IRT) model logistik 3 parameter The Purpose of this research is developing a Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) using the Item Response Theory (IRT) three-parameter logistics model. The background of this research is the form of simultaneous participant test activities, the ability of participants and the level of difficulty of the items provided are not suitable. By using CAT with IRT three-parameter logistic model, administering of the test is done by stages, selecting the item on CAT according to the ability of the participants. This research succeeded in making a CAT system model using IRT three-parameter logistics model. The stages that were designed included: develop Item bank, starting rules, selecting the item, the estimation of the ability, the determination of stopping rules Experiments were conducted on 37 participants with a total of 61 items pool along with the item parameters. The final theta score obtained by the participants range from -0,22 to 1,09. The ability distribution of categories is very low as many as 12 participants (31%), low as many as 5 participants (14%), moderate as many as 9 participants (24%), high as many as 5 participants (11%) and very high as many as 6 participants (16%). Stopping rules analysis shows that 100% of participants stopped the test when the change in the Standard Evaluation Measurement (SEM) met the 0,01 requirement Analysis of the use of items during the test took 34 items with a level of difficulty between -1,7 to 0,96.
