Abstract

Desa Cisantana memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi desa wisata, tetapi dalam pengembangannya masih kurang maksimal dalam memanfaatkan potensi desa yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana potensi Desa Cisantana sebagai desa wisata, aspek yang paling menunjang dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam menjadikan Desa Cisantana menjadi desa wisata di Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data pengharkatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Desa Cisantana termasuk kedalam kelas II yaitu desa wisata berkembang yang merupakan suatu kawasan dengan potensi desa yang cukup menunjang untuk dijadikan desa wisata. Beberapa aspek yang ada di Desa Cisantana sudah cukup menunjang terutama aspek kondisi fisik yang mendapat nilai baik sedangkan untuk aspek daya tarik, faktor pendukung, pengelolaan dan pengembangan destinasi mendapat nilai cukup. Desa Cisantana memiliki beberapa kendala diantaranya adalah akomodasi penginapan yang masih kurang, akses jalan di Desa Cisantana masih sempit, atraksi wisata masih sedikit, wisata kuliner dan toko cinderamata belum dikembangkan, tidak adanya paket dan informasi wisata dan kurangnya kerjasama antara berbagai pihak yang terkait dalam pengembangan Desa Cisantana untuk menjadi desa wisata. Adapun saran untuk pengembangan Desa Cisantana menjadi desa wisata diantaranya adalah promosi wisata, penyediaan paket wisata, pembangunan sarana dan prasarana yang masih kurang, sosialisasi terhadap masyarakat seperti pengadaan homestay, dan meningkatkan kerjasama antara lembaga dan masyarakat untuk merumuskan kebijakan yang baik dalam mensejahterakan masyarakat Desa Cisantana.;--Cisantana Village has a potential to be a more developed tourism village, but the development of the village is still not optimal especially in exploiting its potential. This study aims to find out how the potential of Cisantana Village as a tourism village, the most supportive aspect that supports Cisantana Village, and the obstacles faced in making Cisantana Village become a tourism village in Kuningan Regency. The method used in this reasearch is quantitative descriptive method with scoring data analysis technique. The findings show that Cisantana Village belongs to class II, an area with sufficient potential to be a tourism village. Several aspects especially the physical aspects that get good grade and other aspects such as the attractiveness, supporting factors, management, and the destination development that get sufficient score are enough to support the village. The lack of lodging accommodations, limited road access, tourism attractions that are still lacking, culinary tourism and souvenir shops that have not yet been developed, the absence of packages or tourist information, and the lack of cooperation between various parties involved in the development of the village of Cisantana become several obstacles that Cisantana Village has. The suggestions for the development of the Cisantana Village into a tourism village include the promotion of tourism, tour packages availability, the construction of facilities and infrastructure that are still lacking, the socialization of the community, such as the provision of Homestays, and better cooperation between institutions and the community to formulate good policies in the welfare of the people of Cisantana Village.
