Abstract
Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yaitu khususnya pada program keahlian Pemesinan Pesawat Udara (PPU) harus sesuai dengan tuntutan kompetensi industri agar lulusannya siap untuk menghadapi dunia kerja, permasalahan yang terjadi masih banyak siswa SMK yang belum mendapatkan pekerjaan setelah lulus seperti pada tahun 2016 ada 30 dari 68 siswa yang belum bekerja juga pada tahun 2017 ada 25 dari 72 siswa yang belum bekerja, dan setelah lulus SMK lulusan yang diterima di industri juga harus mengikuti pelatihan dari awal lagi untuk mendapatkan kompetensi yang diharapkan industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan relevansi kompetensi materi mata pelajaraan Aircraft Component Turning dengan tuntutan kompetensi kerja yang dibutuhkan di industri berdasarkan SKKNI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik, teknik pengambilan data menggunakan dokumentasi. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam segi kesesuaian kompetensi materi mata pelajaran Aircraft Component Turning sudah cukup sesuai atau relevan dengan kebutuhan industri yang ditunjukkan besar hasil rasio ketepatan secara keseluruhannya yaitu 0.88, namun dalam pelaksanaannya faktor-faktor pendukung agar menghasilkan lulusan yang diharapkan lebih dikembangkan lagi untuk meningkatkan keterserapan lulusan di industri dan membekali lulusan dengan kompetensi yang diharapkan. ..... The implementation of learning in Vocational High Schools, especially in the Aircraft Machining expertise program (PPU) must be in accordance with the demands of industrial competence so that graduates are ready to face the world of work, there are still many vocational students who have not received employment after graduation as in 2016 there were 30 out of 68 students who have not worked yet in 2017 there were 25 out of 72 students who had not worked, and after graduating from vocational high school graduates who were accepted in the industry also had to attend training from the beginning again to get the competencies expected by the industry. This study aims to describe the relevance of competency in eye material for Aircraft Component Turning learning with the demands of work competencies needed in the industry based on SKKNI. This study uses descriptive analytic method, data retrieval techniques using documentation. The results of this study indicate that in terms of suitability of competency in Aircraft Component Turning subject matter is sufficiently relevant or relevant to the needs of the industry which is shown by the overall results of the accuracy ratio is 0.88, but in practice the supporting factors to produce graduates are expected to be further developed to increase the absorption of graduates in the industry and equip graduates with the expected competencies.
