Abstract

ABSTRAK DAMPAK PENGGUNAAN LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH ALAM PELOPOR TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK DAN KOGNITIF ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS Imas Maryani NIM . 1502913/Prodi PKH-SPs-UPI Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan hambatan motorik dan kognitif anak berkebutuhan khusus yang belum tertangani dengan baik dan penggunaan lingkungan sekolah yang belum optimal di sekolah reguler/sekolah inklusi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan lingkungan sekolah Alam Pelopor terhadap perkembangan motorik dan kognitif anak berkebutuhan khusus di Sekolah Alam Pelopor Rancaekek. Metode expost facto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kondisi kemampuan motorik dan kognitif anak berkebutuhan khusus yang dijadikan subjek penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada kedua aspek tersebut kurang baik sebelum masuk sekolah Alam Pelopor, 2) Kondisi lingkungan sekolah Alam Pelopor sangat supportif. 3) Berdasarkan persepsi orang tua dan guru penggunaan lingkungan sekolah Alam Pelopor berpengaruh kuat dan signifikan terhadap perkembangan motorik anak berkebutuhan khusus sebesar 43,16 % dan perkembangan kognitif anak berkebutuhan khusus sebesar 44,35 %. Hal ini diperkuat oleh hasil uji T dan Uji Wilcoxon pada asesmen yg menunjukkan penggunaan lingkungan sekolah Alam Pelopor berdampak/berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan motorik, namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan pada perkembangan kognitif. Hal ini terjadi karena 3 subjek penelitian memiliki hambatan kecerdasan (tunagrahita) yang salah satunya sebagai anak down syndrom . Kata Kunci : Lingkungan sekolah alam, Anak berkebutuhan khusus, motorik, dan kognitif. ABSTRACT THE IMPACT OF THE USE OF THE SPORTS NATURAL SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT ON SPECIAL NEEDED CHILDREN'S MOTOR AND COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT Imas Maryani NIM 1502913/Prodi PKH-SPs-UPI This research is motivated by the problem of motor and cognitive dissabillities Children with special needs who have not been handled properly and the use of a school environment that is not optimal in regular schools / inclusive schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the use of a Alam Pelopor school environment on motor and cognitive development of children with special needs in Alam Pelopor School Rancaekek. expost facto method. The results showed that 1) The condition of motor and cognitive abilities of children with special needs who were the subject of the study could be concluded that both aspects were not good before entering Alam Pelopor school, 2) The environmental condition of Alam Pelopor school was very supportive. 3) Based on the perception of parents and teachers the use of the Alam Pelopor school environment has a strong and significant effect on the motor development of children with special needs by 43.16% and the cognitive development of children with special needs by 44.35%. This is confirmed by the results of the T test and the Wilcoxon Test in the assessment which shows the use of the Alam Pelopor school environment has a significant effect on motor development, but does not significantly influence cognitive development. This happens because 3 research subjects have intellectual disabilities (retardation), one of which is a child with Down syndrome.
