Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan hasil penggunaan Lembar kerja siswa (LKS) berbasis model search, solve, create dan share (SSCS) pada pembuatan lilin aromaterapi dalam membangun kreativitas siswa SMA kelas XI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatfif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap perseiapan, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 15 orang siswa SMA kelas XI MIPA yang telah mempelajari materi fraksi-fraksi minyak bumi dan kegunaannya, 3 orang dosen pendidikan kimia, 2 orang guru kimia dan 1 orang guru bahasa Indonesia. Tempat penelitian yaitu pada salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Instrumen yang digunakan diantaranya lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, lembar penilaian jawaban siswa dalam LKS, dan penilaian kualitas hasil karya kreatif. Data yang diperoleh diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan skala Likert yang kemudian dikategorisasikan sesuai pengkategorian skor menurut Riduwan (2015). Aktivitas siswa dalam mencapai perilaku kreatif yang diharapkan dalam LKS termasuk kategori sangat baik. Hasil jawaban siswa dalam LKS dalam mencapai indikator kreatif (fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration dan evaluation) menunjukan kategori sangat baik. Kualitas hasil karya kreatif siswa berdasarkan standar kualitas karya kreatif yang telah ditetapkan menunjukan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian LKS berbasis model SSCS pada pembuatan lilin aromaterapi dapat diaplikasikan untuk membangun kreativitas siswa dan menunjang ketercapaian KD 4.2 yaitu menyajikan karya tentang proses pembentukan dan teknik pemisahan fraksi-fraksi minyak bumi beserta kegunaannya. Kata kunci: Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), Search, Solve, Create dan Share (SSCS), Kreativitas, Lilin Aromaterapi. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the results of the implementation of student worksheets (LKS) based on the search, solve, create and share (SSCS) models in aromatherapy candle production to build creativity of grade XI senior high school students. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach method. This research consists of three stages: preparation, implementation and reported stages. Participants in this research as fifteen senior high school students of grade XI MIPA in West Bandung Regency, three chemistry lecturers, three high school chemistry teachers, and one high school Indonesian teacher. Some instruments that using in this research are students activity observation sheets, students answer assessment sheets in worksheets, and creative work quality assessment sheets. The data obtained is processed and analyzed using Likert scale whichis then categorized accorded to the interpretation of scores to Riduwan (2015). Student activities in achievied the expected creative behavior in the worksheet are included in the excellent category. The results of student answers in the worksheet in achieved creative indicators (fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration and evaluation) show excellent categories and The quality of the students' creative work to produce aromatherapy candle based on creative work quality shows an excellent category. Thus the SSCS model based worksheet on aromatherapy candle production can be applied to develop students' creativity and to support the achievement of KD 4.2, which presents work on the process of forming and separating petroleum fraction techniques and their uses.
