    Abstract

    Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah belum tersedianya alat peraga sebagai media pembelajaran kontrol motor listrik 1 phasa berbasis phase angle control. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu (1) mengetahui tingkat kelayakan alat peraga kontrol motor listrik 1 phasa berbasis phase angle control sebagai media pembelajaran; (2) mengetahui respon pengguna alat peraga tersebut. Tingkat kelayakan alat peraga dilihat dari angket yang diujikan kepada dua orang ahli materi dan dua orang ahli media dari Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro UPI, sedangkan respon pengguna dilihat dari hasil angket pengguna setelah menggunakan alat peraga kontrol motor listrik satu fasa berbasis phase angle control. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu dua orang dosen DPTE sebagai ahli materi, dua orang dosen DPTE sebagai ahli media, serta 23 orang mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro konsentrasi Elektronika Industri angkatan 2015 DPTE UPI yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah mesin listrik dan instalasi industri atau elektronika daya. Hasil dari angket yang diujikan kepada ahli materi dan ahli media mendapatkan hasil bahwa alat peraga kontrol motor listrik 1 phasa berbasis phase angle control layak digunakan dilapangan, dan hasil dari angket yang diberikan kepada responden mendapatkan penilaian 84,07% yang diinterpretasikan sebagai sangat baik.

    The background of this research is the unavailability of learning media for electric motor control single phase based on phase angle control. This study has the following objectives: (1) to determine the feasibility of a single phase electric motor control based on phase angle control as a learning media; (2) find out the user response of the learning media. The feasibility level of teaching aids is seen from the questionnaire tested to two material experts and two media experts from Department of Electrical Engineering Education University of Education Indonesia, meanwhile the user response is seen from the results of the user questionnaire after using the single phase electric motor control based on phase angle control. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The subjects of this study were two lecturers as material experts from Department of Electrical Engineering Education, two lecturers as media experts from Department of Electrical Engineering Education, as well as 23 students of Electrical Engineering Education Study Program in the 2015 generation of Department of Electrical Engineering Education UPI who had attended courses on electrical machinery and industrial installations or power electronics. The results of the questionnaire tested to material experts and media experts get the results that the phase phase electric motor control based on phase angle control are feasible to use as learning media, and the results of the questionnaire given to respondents get an 84.07% rating which is interpreted as very good.
