Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas Aktualisasi sosial komunitas punk dalam mengubah stigma negatif di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana stigma yang terjadi terhadap Komunitas Punk Taring Babi di masyarakat, upaya yang dilakukan Komunitas Punk Taring Babi untuk mencapai Aktualisasi sosial di masyarakat, bentuk Aktualisasi sosial Komunitas Punk Taring Babi yang ada di masyarakat, respon dan pandangan masyarakat atas upaya yang dilakukan Komunitas Punk Taring Babi untuk mencapai Aktualisasi sosial, dan dampak yang dirasakan masyarakat maupun Komunitas Punk Taring Babi setelah melakukan Aktualisasi Sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari anggota komunitas Punk Taring Babi, masyarakat setempat, tokoh masyarakat, pemerintahan (RT/ RW) setempat dan ahli psikologi sosial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa stigma yang terjadi di masyarakat terhadap Komunitas Punk Taring Babi negatif dengan adanya sikap diskriminasi yang dilakukan masyarakat terhadap mereka, upaya yang dilakukan mereka untuk mencapai Aktualisasi sosial dalam mengubah stigma negatif di masyarakat sudah berhasil, faktor yang mendasari mereka dalam melakukan Aktualisasi sosial adalah sebagai kebutuhan tertinggi untuk mencapai sesuatu dengan menggunakan potensi yang mereka miliki dengan sukses, bentuk Aktualisasi sosial yang mereka lakukan berupa bantuan atas kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat, respon dan tanggapan masyarakat sangatlah baik atas upaya yang dilakukan oleh Komunitas Punk Taring Babi untuk mencapai Aktualisasi sosial, serta dampak positif dirasakan oleh masyarakat maupun Komunitas Punk Taring Babi setelah adanya upaya Aktualisasi Sosial, sehingga stigma negatif yang berkembang di masyarakat selama ini berubah menjadi pandangan yang positif.;-- The research talks about the social actualization of the punk community in changing the negative stigma in society. This research has a purpose to determine how the stigma that occurs to the community Punk Taring Babi in the society, efforts made by Punk Taring Babi community to achieve social actualization in changing the negative stigma of society, form of social actualization Punk Taring Babi community existing in the city of Jakarta, responses and views of the society for the efforts made Punk Taring Babi community to achieve social actualization, and impact is felt by the surrounding society and Punk Taring Babi community after doing social actualization. This research used qualitative approach and case study method. The data collected with observation technique, deep interview and documentation. The research informant consists of members of the Punk Taring Babi community, local society, society leaders, local government (RT / RW) and social psychology experts. The results of this research shows that the stigma that occurs in the society against Punk Taring Babi community is negative with the attitude of discrimination by the society against them, the efforts they have made to achieve social actualization in changing the negative stigma in society have been successful, the underlying factor in social actualization is as the highest need to achieve something by using their potential successfully, the form of social actualization they do in the form of assistance for activities undertaken by the local society, the response and views of the society is very good for the efforts made by Punk Taring Babi community to achieve social actualization, and the positive impact is felt by the society and the Punk Taring Babi community after the social actualization effort, so that the negative stigma that developed in the society has been turned into a positive outlook.
