Abstract

Kabupaten Tegal merupakan daerah lintasan yang dilalui jalur Pantura serta Tol Trans Jawa. Sebagai daerah lintasan kabupaten Tegal memiliki tingkat mobilitas yang cukup tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi pariwisata dan menganalisis kemenarikan daya tarik wisata di kabupaten Tegal, serta mengidentifikasi upaya pemerintah dalam pengembangan pariwisata di kabupaten Tegal. Metode yang digunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan accidental sampling dengan responden sebanyak 100 wisatawan, 5 responden untuk sampel pengelola daya tarik wisata, serta 1 responden dari pemerintah daerah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi fisik pariwisata di kabupaten Tegal termasuk termasuk dalam kategori kelas II atau mendukung, aksesibilitas kelas II atau mendukung, dan sarana prasarana kelas III atau kurang mendukung. Nilai kemenarikan tertinggi pada pariwisata di kabupaten Tegal terletak pada indikator transportasi yang digunakan dalam berwisata. Indikator souvenir / cinderamata memperoleh nilai kemenarikan terendah. Upaya pemerintah dalam mengembangkan pariwisata di kabupaten Tegal dinilai masih belum maksimal karena masih terkendala sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam mempromosikan pariwisata di kabupaten Tegal.-- Tegal regency is a trajectory through which the Pantura route and the Trans Java Toll. As a track area Tegal district has a fairly high level of mobility. This study aims to analyze the potential of tourism and analyze the attractiveness of tourist attraction in Tegal regency, as well as identifying government efforts in tourism development in Tegal regency. Descriptive method is used in this study. The sampling technique used accidental sampling with 100 tourist respondents, 5 respondents for sample managers of tourist attraction, and 1 respondent from local government. The results showed that the physical potential of tourism in Tegal regency included in the category of class II or support, accessibility class II or support, and infrastructure facilities class III or less support. The highest attractiveness value in tourism in Tegal district lies in the transportation indicators used in travel. Souvenir indicators get the lowest attractiveness value. Government an effort in developing tourism in Tegal regency is still considered not maximal because it is still constrained human resources in promoting tourism in Tegal regency.
