Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai solidaritas sosial masyarakat yang terkena dampak dari pembangunan Waduk Jatigede di Kampung Sabeulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui solidaritas masyarakat di Kampung Sabeulit sebelum dan setelah pembangunan waduk, selain itu untuk melihat perbedaan solidaritas yang terjadi pada masyarakat kampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa solidaritas masyarakat Kampung Sabeulit sebelum dan setelah pembangunan, termasuk ke dalam jenis solidaritas mekanik. Sebelum pembangunan, masyarakat menetap di Dusun Lontong dan Jatiindung, rasa kebersamaan terjalin erat dengan saling tolong-menolong antar tetangga. Dimana terlihat dari gotong-royong masyarakat di setiap kegiatan, dengan memberikan bantuan berupa tenaga, materi serta pikiran. Setelah pembangunan, masyarakat tinggal di Kampung Sabeulit. Akan tetapi kehidupan yang dijalani berbanding terbalik, hal ini karena lahan yang dimiliki untuk mencari nafkah sudah tidak ada. Meski begitu masyarakat masih tetap mempertahankan nilai tolong-menolong serta gotong-royong dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan begitu, tidak ada perbedaan yang terjadi dalam solidaritas pada masyarakat kampung sebelum dan setelah pembangunan waduk. Yang ada hanya, perubahan dalam prosesnya, yaitu dalam hal memberikan bantuan berupa materi. Namun bantuan yang diberikan dalam bentuk pikiran dan tenaga masih tetap dilakukan. Sehingga tidak mengubah keseluruhan solidaritas yang ada pada masyarakat.;-- This study discusses the social solidarity of the community affected by the development of the Jatigede dam in the village of Sabeulit. This study aims to determine the solidarity of the community in the village of Sabeulit before and after the development of the dam, in addition, to be able to see the differences of solidarity that occurred in the village of community. This research used qualitative approach with case study method. Data collection techniques done by the form of observation, in-depth interview and documentation study. The result of this study indicate that the solidarity of the Sabeulit village community before and after development, including into the type of mechanical solidarity. Before development, the community settled in the hamlet Lontong and Jatiindung, the sense of togetherness is closely intertwined with mutual help between neighbors. It is seen from gotong-royong in the community in every activity, by providing assistance in the form of energy, materials and thoughts. After the development, the community lived in the village of Sabeulit. But the life that is lived inversely proportional, this is because the land owned to earn a living is not there. Even so, the community still retains the value of help each other and gotong-royong in daily life. That way, there is no difference in solidarity that exists in the community before and after development. There is only a change in the process, in terms of providing material assistance. But the assistance provided in the form of mind and energy is still being done. So, no to change the overall solidarity that exists in the community.
