    Abstract

    Imunisasi sangat penting bagi kesehatan balita, balita yang tidak mendapat imunisasi lanjutan mempunyai resiko tinggi terjangkit penyakit infeksi dan menular. Imunisasi lanjutan untuk mempertahankan tingkat kekebalan pada anak setelah diberikan imunisasi dasar pada tahun-tahun pertama kelahiran di usia 0-9 bulan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi pada anak balita di UPT Puskesmas Ibrahim Adjie Kota Bandung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling sebanyak 81 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi pada anak balita sebagian besar pengetahuan cukup yaitu berjumlah 47 orang (58,0%), pengetahuan baik berjumlah 20 orang (24,7%) dan pengetahuan kurang berjumlah 14 orang (17,3%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini sebagian besar pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi pada anak balita yaitu pengetahuan cukup berjumlah 47 responden (58,0%) hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh faktor umur, pendidikan dan pekerjaan. Saran kepada pihak UPT Puskesmas Ibrahim Adjie Kota Bandung diharapkan dapat memberikan promosi kesehatan tentang pentingnya imunisasi pada anak balita khususnya ditekankan pada jenis, tujuan, jadwal dan efek samping imunisasi.-- Immunization is very important for the health of toddlers, toddlers who not get the advanced immunization has high risk of catching the disease infection and contagious. Advanced immunization to maintain the level of immunity for children after being given the basic immunization in the first year at age 0-9 months. The purpose of this research is to know the description of the mother’s knowledge about immunization in todders in the UPT Puskesmas Ibrahim Adjie Bandung. Design reseach is descriptive quantitative, sampling teachnigue using accidental sampling as much as 81 respondens. The results showed that the mother’s knowledge about immunization in toddlers most knowledge was considerable amounted to 47 people (58,0%), good knowledge amounted to 20 people (24,7%), less knowledge amounted to 14 persons (17,3%). The conclusions of this research most of the mother’s knowledge about immunization in toddler is knowledge enough totaled 47 respondents, this can be caused by age, education and employment. Advice to UPT Puskesmas Ibrahim Adjie Bandung is expected to provide health promotion about the importance of immunization in children, toddlers especially emphasized on the type, purpose, schedule and side effects of immunization.
