    Abstract

    Laporan Tugas akhir ini membahas tentang Analisis Propeller shaft pada rancang bangun kendaran Off Road tipeToyota FJ40. Analisis kasus seperti sebagai berikut 1).Data spesifikasi engine Toyota FJ40, 2).Penghitung poros propeller 3). Penghitungan spider untuk universitas joint. Untuk menganalisis itu dipergunakan rumus 32 M 32 . 16800 ds = (⸺⸺⸺) 13 = ( ⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺ ) 13 = 3√10.272,406 = 21,738 mm = 22 mm πσba π(16667) Pembulatan angka diameter poros disesuaikan dari tabel yang ada maka dipilihlah diameter poros sebesar 28 mm ( 28 mm > 22 mm. Pemeriksaan tegangan lentur yang terjadi, adalah : 32. M 32 . 16800 σb = ⸺⸺⸺ = ⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺ = 7,799 Kg/mm πds³ π(28)³ berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang diperoleh, maka tegangan lentur yang terjadi (σb = 7,799 Kg/mm²). Sehingga (σb = 7,799 Kg/mm² ≤ σba = 16,667 Kg/mm² → AMAN.
