Abstract
Dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya indikasi siswa bermotivasi rendah, penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Setia Bhakti kelas XI Akuntansi A tahun ajaran 2017/2018; dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan media komik terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Akuntansi Perusahaan Dagang, yaitu dengan menganalisis ada atau tidaknya perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media komik dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Pre-Experimental, One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas XI Akuntansi A sebanyak 20 orang siswa, yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah angket motivasi belajar dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan ialah statistik deskriptif melalui tabel distribusi frekuensi, dan statistik inferensial menggunakan statistik parametrik, yaitu digunakan uji t dalam pengujian hipotesis. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif, diketahui bahwa setelah penggunaan media komik, terdapat 30% siswa berada pada kategori bermotivasi tinggi. Dan pada uji t, didapat nilai thitung > ttabel (3,612 > 2,024), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media komik dalam mata pelajaran Akuntansi Perusahaan Dagang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan, bahwa penggunaan media komik memiliki pengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Akuntansi Perusahaan Dagang.;---Motivated by the indication of low motivated students, this study was conducted at SMK Setia Bhakti class XI Accounting A of academic year 2017/2018; aimed to understand the influence of the use of comic media towards student learning motivation in Accounting in Trading Company subject, by analyze the presence or absence of differences in student learning motivation between before and after the use of comic media in learning. This study was an experimental, with Pre-Experimental, One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Samples of this study are 20 students of XI Accounting A, selected through purposive sampling technique. The instruments which used in this study are questionnaire of learning motivation and observation sheet. The technics of analysis which used are descriptive statistic through the frequency distribution table, and inferential statistic was parametric statistic, used the t-test in hypothesis testing. Based on the descriptive analysis, known that after the use of comic media, there is 30% students are in high motivation category. And on the t-test, obtained the value of the tcount > ttable (3,612 > 2,024), which means there are differences in student learning motivation, between before and after the use of comic media in Accounting in Trading Company subject. In conclusion, the use of comic media has influence towards student learning motivation in Accounting in Trading Company Subject.
