Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep pada siswa dan belum dimanfaatkannya media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia oleh guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh: media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif, motivasi belajar, interaksi antara media pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen, desain penelitian menggunakan desain factorial 2x2. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara media pembelajaran dan motivasi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran grafis, kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan motivasi tinggi menggunakan media pembelajaran multimedia interaktif lebih tinggi dari penggunaan media pembelajaran grafis kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan multimedia interaktif motivasi rendah lebih rendah dari penggunaan media grafis, terdapat interaksi antara media pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa.----This study aims to find out the effect of: (1) interactive multimedia learning media (2) learning motivation (3) the interaction between learning media and learning motivation on students' concept of understanding ability on the economic activity of society in learning IPS. This research was conducted on the students of grade VII SMPN 3 Cugenang. Quasi experimental research using factorial design 2 X 2. The sample in this research is 80 students consist of 2 classes. The variable of concept comprehension ability test result is measured through multiple choice test instrument, while measuring student's learning motivation with questionnaire instrument of learning motivation. Testing of analytical prerequisites for data normality test using skewnees and kurtosis test while looking at homogeneity using homogeneity test in SPSS program. Then the analysis of variance (Anava). The result of hypothesis shows that there is interaction between learning media and motivation to students' concept comprehension ability to related material. In the Anava table obtained Sig. 0.001 <0.05 means there is interaction between the media and motivation to learn that give effect to the ability of understanding the concept of students on the subject of economic activities of society. So it can be concluded, the first ability to understand the concept of students using interactive multimedia learning media is higher than using the media of learning graphics, both the ability to understand the concept of students with high motivation using interactive multimedia learning media higher than the use of graphics learning media third ability of students' interactive multimedia low motivation lower than the use of graphic media, fourth there is interaction between learning media and learning motivation to ability understanding of student concept.
