    Abstract

    Skripsi ini berjudul “Perubahan Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Kecamatan Campaka Kabupaten Purwakarta: Kajian Historis Tahun 2000-2015”. Permasalahan pokok yang dibahas dalam skripsi ini adalah bagaimana perubahan sosial ekonomi masyarakat Kecamatan Campaka Kabupaten Purwakarta tahun 2000-2015. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode historis meliputi pengumpulan sumber baik sumber lisan maupun tulisan, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Untuk memperdalam analisis, penulis menggunakan pendekatan interdisipliner melalui kajian ilmu sosiologi, antropologi dan ekonomi. Konsep-konsep yang digunakan seperti masyarakat; masyarakat agraris/masyarakat desa dan masyarakat industri/masyarakat kota, pembangunan kawasan industri, pengelompokkan jenis industri, perubahan sosial, mobilitas sosial, modernisasi dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini sangat tergantung pada penggunaan sejarah lisan melalui teknik wawancara dan melalui studi literatur yang berkaitan dengan kajian yang sedang diteliti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditemukan beberapa temuan yaitu sebelum berkembangnya kawasan industri, masyarakat Kecamatan Campaka bercorak agraris. Pembangunan kawasan industri terus mengalami perkembangan, baik mengenai jumlah pabrik industri maupun jumlah sarana dan prasana penunjangnya. Perubahan corak dari masyarakat agraris ke masyarakat indutri ini telah memberikan perubahan kehidupan masyarakat di Kecamatan Campaka. Perubahan tersebut memberikan pengaruh terhadap pendapatan dan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kesempatan kerja dan peluang usaha juga semakin terbuka bagi masyarakat Kecamatan Campaka. Sarana dan prasarana yang semakin maju di Kecamatan Campaka telah menarik perhatian masyarakat lain di luar kecamatan untuk bermigrasi ke daerah ini. ---This thesis titled "The Social Economic’s Change in Campaka District Purwakarta: Historical Review Year 2000-2015". The main issue of the research is to examine how the socio-economic changes of Campaka’s district society in Purwakarta Regency in 2000-2015. In the process to answer that main issue, the author used the historical method to perform four steps namely heuristics, criticism of sources, interpretation and historiography. To facilitate the analysis, the author used the interdisciplinary approach through studies in the field of sociology, anthropology and economics studies. The author also used the concepts such as society; agrarian/rural communities and industrial societies/urban communities, industrial estate development, industry grouping, social change, social mobility, and modernization and others. This study is highly dependent on the use of oral history through interview techniques and literature techniques related to the research. Based on the results of the researchit can be found that before the development of industry, Campaka’s district society patterned agrarian. The development of industrial estate continued in a good development in the number of industrial plants and the number of supporting facilities and infrastructure. The agrarian society’s life has turned into an industrial society has changed the life of the Campaka’s districts society. Its change has an impact on income and welfare level of the community. Job opportunities and business opportunities are increasingly open to Campaka District’s society. The condition of increasingly advanced facilities and infrastructures in Campaka’s district has attracted the attention of the people outside the sub-districts to migrate to this area.
