Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji korelasi antara perception of classroom learning environment dan academic emotions pada siswa SMP X di kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 81 responden yang berusia 12-14 tahun yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purvosive sampling. Instrumen pada penelitian ini terdiri atas academic emotions questionnaire (AEQ) dan my class inventory (MCI) yang telah dialih bahasakan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif antara dimensi daya saing (competitiveness) dengan negative academic emotions dan adanya korelasi negatif antara dimensi kepuasan (satisfaction) dengan negative academic emotions pada siswa SMP X di kota Bandung. ----This study aims to examine the correlation between perception of classroom learning environment and academic emotions in X junior high school’ students in Bandung. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with correlational design with a sample of 81 respondents aged 12-14 years selected using purvosive sampling technique. Instruments in this study consist of academic emotions questionnaire (AEQ) and my class inventory (MCI) which has been converted into Indonesian language. Data analysis is done by using pearson product moment. The results showed a positive correlation between the dimensions of competitiveness with negative academic emotions and the negative correlation between the dimension of satisfaction with negative academic emotions in X junior high school’ students in Bandung.
