Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh menurunnya profitabilitas perusahan yang telah mengikuti pemeringkatan Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) dan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2011-2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran Good Corporate Governance (GCG) yang diukur dengan Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI), growth yang diukur dengan asset growth, dan profitabilitas yang diukur dengan Return on Equity (ROE), serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh Good Corporate Governance dan growth terhadap profitabilitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dan verifikatif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh perusahaan yang telah mengikuti pemeringkatan Corporate Governance Perception Index dan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2011-2015. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi berganda, serta uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji F dan uji T. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa perkembangan Good Corporate Governance meningkat, perkembangan growth menurun, dan perkembangan profitabilitas menurun. Berdasarkan uji F, Good Corporate Governance dan growth berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas. Berdasarkan uji T, Good Corporate Governance berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas. Sedangkan growth tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas.----------- This research is based on the descrease of profitability on companies that have take part in Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) rank and are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2011-2015. The aim of the research is to describe of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) which measured by Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI), growth which measured by asset growth, and profitability which measured by Return on Equity (ROE), and also to figure out the influence between Good Corporate Governance and growth toward profitability. The research used descriptive and verification methods. These population included all companies that have take part on Corporate Governance Perception Index rank and listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period of 2011-2015. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The analysi tecniques used is the classical assumption test and multiple regression analysis, and hypotheses test is using F test and T test. The result showed that Good Corporate Governance has increased, growth has decreased, dan profitability has decreased. Based on the test, Good Corporate Governance and growth has influence toward profitabily. Based on the T test, Good Corporate Governance has influence towards profitability. While growth didn’s has influence towards profitability.
