    Abstract

    Penyusunan Tugas Akhir (TA) ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi mahasiswa agar dapat mengelas pipa dengan posisi yang nyaman, karena di Workshop Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia belum menyediakan alat bantu pengelasan pipa yang dimaksud. Proses pembuatan komponen ini dilakukan melalui: 1) Proses bubut; 2) proses frais; 3) proses drill. Secara teoritis waktu yang dibutuhkan adalah 9,6 jam dengan total biaya Rp. 548.550 (termasuk biaya material). Adapun secara realistis waktu yang diperlukan adalah 11,04 jam dengan total biaya Rp 621.250 (termasuk biaya material).----------
    This Final Project (TA) is aimed to facilitate the students to weld the pipe with a comfortable position, because in the Workshop of the University of Education Indonesia has not provided the pipe welding aids in question. The process of making this component is done through: 1) lathe process; 2) the frais process; 3) drill process. Theoretically the time required is 9.6 hours with total cost Rp. 548,550 (including material costs). The realistic time required is 11.04 hours with a total cost of Rp 621,250 (including material costs).
