Abstract
Anjungan Bengkulu merupakan suatu cerminan dari Provinsi Bengkulu khususnya di bidang pariwisata. Masalah yang dihadapi Provinsi Bengkulu adalah tingkat kunjungan wisatawan yang fluktuatif dan memiliki pertumbuhan yang cenderung rendah. Berdasarkan hasil pra penelitian hal ini disebabkan oleh citra destinasi wisata Provinsi Bengkulu yang kurang baik di benak calon wisatawan. Karena itu, Anjungan Bengkulu harus memiliki strategi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Dengan demikian, peneliti memilih Culture Event sebagai solusi yang dapat diterapkan untuk membangun citra destinasi wisata. Variabel independen (X) yang digunakan yaitu Culture Event terdiri dari Spectacularisation, Theme, dan Participation and Immersion. Variabel dependen (Y) yaitu citra destinasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan metode explanatory survey dan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 108 responden, yaitu wisatawan Anjungan Bengkulu dengan teknik penarikan yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Pelaksanaan Culture Event di Anjungan Bengkulu berada pada kategori tinggi, dimensi Spectacularisation mendapatkan penilaian tertinggi dan penilaian terendah yaitu Theme. Kemudian tanggapan mengenai citra destinasi di Provinsi Bengkulu berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, dimensi cognitive mendapatkan penilaian tertinggi dan dimensi affective mendapatkan penilaian terendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara Culture Event dan citra destinasi.----------Anjungan Bengkulu is one of the Bengkulu province’s reflection especially in tourism sector. The problem that Bengkulu province’s faced is the fluctuate tourist’s visitation and has growth that tends to be low. Based on the pre-research this problems are caused by tourism destination image of bengkulu province that still not good in the tourist’s mind. Therefore, anjungan bengkulu must have a strategy to solve the problem. Therefore the researcher choosed Culture Event as one of the solution that can be implement to build tourism destination image. the independent variable (X) used are Culture Event consisting of Spectacularisation, Theme, and Participation and Immersion. Dependent variable (Y) is destination image. The type of research used are descriptive and verificative with method used are explanatory survey and cross sectional approach. The sample in this study of 108 respondentsof anjungan bengkulu tourists with sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. Implementation of Culture Event at Anjungan Bengkulu is located in the high categoyr, the dimension of Spectacularisation get the highest ratings and lowest ratings is Theme. Then the feedback regarding the destination image at bengkulu province is located in the very high category, the dimension of the cognitive get the highest ratings and the dimension of affective get the lowest ratings. The results showed there is a significant influence of Culture Event and the destination image.
