Abstract
Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai prestasi belajar siswa. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa yaitu kompetensi sosial guru dan motivasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauhmana pengaruh kompetensi sosial guru dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga variabel yaitu Kompetensi Sosial Guru (X1), Motivasi Belajar Siswa (X2) dan Prestasi Belajar Siswa (Y). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Explanatory Survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan lembar kuisioner. Pengolahan data penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel 2013. Dan yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas XI Jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran di SMKN 1 Bandung yang diambil sampel sebanyak 60 orang responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi bahwa (1) tingkat kompetensi sosial guru berpengaruh terhadap tingkat prestasi belajar, (2) tingkat motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap tingkat prestasi belajar siswa, (3) kompetensi sosial guru dan motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap tingkat prestasi belajar siswa,

The issue becomes the study in this research is concerning student learning achievement. The core of study is focused in the factor affecting student learning achievement namely teacher’s social competence and student learning motivation. Based on that matter, the subject matter revealsed in this research is to which extent is the impact of  teacher’s social competence and student learning motivation over student learning achievement. This research consists of three variables which are Teacher’s Social Competence (X1), Student Learning Motivation (X2) and Student Learning Achievement (Y). The method used in this research is Explanatory Survey. The data collecting technique is using questionnaire sheet. The data processing of this research is using the application of Microsoft Excel 2013. The respondent of this reseach is the Tenth Grade students of Office Administration Department in  SMKN 1 Bandung as many as 60 respondents as sample. Based on the result of research, the information obtained is that (1) the teacher’s social competence level has positive impact over the learning achievement level, (2) the student learning motivation level has positive impact over the student learning achievement level, (3) the teacher’s social competence level  and the student learning motivation level has positive impact over the student learning achievement level,
