Abstract
Pesatnya arus globalisasi serta tingginya arus urbanisasi, berdampak pada kelestarian budaya lokal dan merubah karakter masyarakat Desa Kalideres, di mana perilaku solidaritas mulai terancam dan (orang – orang) semakin individualis, khususnya pada generasi muda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan perilaku solidaritas masyarakat Kalideres melalui tradisi Ngobeng. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif analitis dengan subjek penelitian utama masyarakat Kalideres. Adapun, hasil penelitian ini, yaitu 1) Terdapat tiga kegiatan utama dalam tradisi Ngobeng, seperti; kegiatan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan penutup yang efektif menguatkan ikatan solidaritas masyarakat Desa Kalideres; 2) Berbagai peran yang dilakukan pengobeng, tokoh masyarakat, dan generasi muda pada tradisi Ngobeng, efektif dalam mengembangkan perilaku solidaritas; 3) Ada kendala utama dalam pelaksanaan tradisi Ngobeng yaitu; arus globalisasi yang kuat pada tataran masyarakat, seperti pengaruh budaya luar dan teknologi. Selain itu, tingginya generasi muda melakukan urbanisasi merupakan kendala tersendiri; 4) Memberdayakan generasi muda melalui karang taruna, untuk turut berpartisipasi dalam pelaksanaan tradisi Ngobeng, merupakan solusi efektif dalam menanamkan rasa kepemilikan akan tradisi Ngobeng dan dapat membangun perilaku solidaritas antar warga masyarakat Kalideres.;---The rapid globalization and the high rate of urbanization affected the preservation of local culture and changed the character of Kalideres residents, where the solidarity is threatened and the people being more individualistic, especially the younger generation. The purpose of this research is to develop the solidarity within Kalideres residents through Ngobeng tradition. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive analytical method with the residents of Kalideres as the participants. The results of this study, are 1) There are three main activities in Ngobeng traditions, such as; preparation, implementation and closing which are effective to strengthen the solidarity bond of Kalideres residents.; 2) Various roles performed by pengobeng, community leaders, and the younger generation in the Ngobeng traditions are effective in improving the solidarity; 3) There is a major constraint in the implementation of Ngobeng tradition that is; the strong globalization within the society, such as the influence of foreign culture and technology. In addition, the high urbanization of young generation is another obstacle; 4) Empowering young people, through youth organization, to participate in the implementation of Ngobeng tradition, is an effective solution in instilling a sense of belonging to the Ngobeng tradition and can build the solidarity between Kalideres residents.
