Abstract
Keberadaan industri terutama di desa pasti akan menimbulkan dampak positif ataupun dampak negatif. Hadirnya industri di Kabupaten Garut khususnya di Desa Ciburial Leles merupakan salah satu bentuk dari perubahan sosial yang sudah mulai merambah pada kawasan pedesaan baik perubahan secara struktural maupun secara fungsional. Proses transformasi sektor pertanian kesektor industri membawa perubahan paling besar pada sistem perekonomian. Pembanguan industri dikawasan perdesaan ini memberikan dampak perubahan yang besar terhadap kelangsungan hidup masyarakat perdesaan baik dampak bersifat ekonomi seperti perubahan mata pencaharian, maupun bersifat sosial yang melihat pada kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dampak keberdaan industri terhadap perubahan mata pencahraian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, lokasi penelitian terletak di kawasan industri Desa Ciburial Kecamatan Leles Kabupaten Garut. Adapun yang menjadi unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang berada di sekitar kawasan industri sebanyak 98 responden. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, angket atau kuesioner, dan data sekunder dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data presentase dan skoring yang berpedoman pada BPS. Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukan bahwa Industri hadir ditengah-tengah masyarakat yang terbiasa hidup dibidang agraria tentunya akan membawa banyak perubahan baik pola pikir ataupun interaksi masyarakatnya. Perubahan yang paling nampak adalah perubahan secara fisik pada bidang ekonomi. Responden menyatakan memiliki pekerjaan sampingan dan erubahan mata pencaharian setelah adanya industri yang membantu perekonomian keluarga. Tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Ciburial berdasarkan kedelapan indikator, menunjukan sebagaian besar masyarakat Desa Ciburial termasuk kedalam tingkat kesejahteraan sedang.;---The existence of industry, especially in the village will certainly have a positive or negative impact. The presence of industry in Garut, especially in the Village Ciburial Leles is one form of social change that has began to penetrate the village areas both structurally and functionally change. The transformation of the agricultural sector to the industrial sector bring the greatest change to the economic system. This industrial development in village areas has a big effect to the survival of villagers both economic impacts such as diversification of livelihood as well as social nature that look at the welfare of the community. This research was conducted by using descriptive quantitative approach, the research location is in industrial area of Ciburial Village, Leles, Garut. The unit of analysis in this study are the community around the industrial area about 98 respondents. Data collection using observation techniques, questionnaires, and secondary data using data analysis techniques and percentage scoring based on BPS. The results of this study, first show that the industry is present in the midst of a society that is accustomed to living in agriculture will certainly bring many changes either mindset or community interaction. The most visible change is the physical change in the economic field. Second, respondents stated that they have side jobs after the industry that helps the family economy. The level of community welfare of Ciburial Village is based on the eight indicators, Ciburial Village community is included in the level of prosperity.
