Abstract

Adaptasi merupakan proses penyesuaian. Penyesuaian dari individu, kelompok, maupun unit sosial terhadap norma-norma, proses perubahan, ataupun suatu kondisi yang diciptakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas sekolah asal dan latar belakang sosial ekonomi mahasiswa terhadap cara beradaptasi sosial mahasiswa UNNES tahun 2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 307 mahasiswa/responden yang diambil setiap fakultas secara simple random sampling pada mahasiswa semester satu UNNES. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 20. Hasil analisis dan perhitungan data mengungkapkan bahwa Adanya hubungan antara variabel kualitas sekolah asal berhubungan dengan cara beradaptasi sosial mahasiswa angka koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,753. Adanya hubungan antara variabel latar belakang social ekonomi orang tua berhubungan dengan cara beradaptasi sosial mahasiswa angka koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,829, serta besarnya hubungan variabel kualitas sekolah asal (X1) dan latar belakang sosial ekonomi orang tua (X2) dengan cara beradaptasi sosial (Y) yang dihitung koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,944. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan secara simultan variable kualitas sekolah asal dan latar belakang sosial ekonomi memberikan korelasi yang kuat terhadap cara beradaptasi mahasiswa yaitu 0,944. ;--- Adaptation is a process of adjustment. Adjustment of individuals, groups and social units to the norms, the process of change, or a condition that is created. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of school quality of origin and socio-economic background of students to adapt to students' social way UNNES 2015. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research methods. The sample was totaled 307 student / faculty respondents drawn each by simple random sampling in a first semester students UNNES. Data analysis using SPSS version 20. The results of the analysis and calculation of the data revealed that the existence of a relationship between the variables related to quality of home-school students how to adapt social figures correlation coefficient (r) of 0,753. The relationship between background variables social economic status of parents associated with adapting socially student numbers correlation coefficient (r) of 0,829, as well as the magnitude of the relationship variable quality of the school of origin (X1) and socio-economic background of parents (X2) by adapting social (Y) calculated the correlation coefficient (r) of 0,944. It can be concluded simultaneously variable quality of the school of origin and socio-economic background provides a strong correlation to how to adapt to a student that is 0,944.
