Abstract

Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan sebuah
produk yang dapat di terapkan pada proses pembelajaran Praktek Ilmu Ukur
Tanah berupa Standar Operasional Prosedure (SOP), Audio Visual dan Flowchart
yang digunakan sebagai alat untuk membantu proses penyelesaian tugas
mahasiswa agar lebih cepat, efektif dan efisien pada mata kuliah Praktek Ilmu
Ukur Tanah sehingga menjadi lebih informatif. Dan apabila mahasiswa ybs.
mempunyai kemampuan pemahaman yang baik tentang survey dan pemetaan,
maka produk pembelajaran yang dihasilkan ini akan dapat meningkatkan
kompetensi mahasiswa di bidang Teknik Sipil sehingga memiliki nilai tambah
untuk bersaing didunia kerja ataupun untuk diajarkan kembali dalam dunia
pendidikan sebagai seorang pengajar yang berkompetensi.
Melalui penelitian ini peneliti ingin mengetahui apakah penggunaan
perangkat lunak terbaru ArcGIS Desktop versi10 bisa diterapkan atau tidak pada
mata kuliah Praktek Ilmu Ukur Tanah. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan
metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan Sistem Informasi Geografis
(SIG) yang merupakan cabang ilmu dari dunia teknik sipil dan sangat dibutuhkan
dalam bidang pekerjaan kesipilan. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Departement
Pendidikan Teknik Sipil Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, dimulai pada bulan
Desember 2016 sampai dengan Januari 2017 pada mahasiswa yang mengambil
mata kuliah Praktek Ilmu Ukur Tanah pada tahun ajaran 2015/2016.;---The main aim of this research is to product an outcome that are a
Standard of Operational Procedures (SOP), an Audio Visual and a Flowchart,
that will be able to be applied in learning practice science of measure land lecture.
The product is used as a tool to help making conclusion of students’ task
becomes effective and efficient in order to provide faster information. Moreover,
the outcome of this research could also increase the students’competency in civil
field to get a better job or to be a teacher with special competency if they are
good at surveying and mapping.
Through this research the researcher wants to know wheather the use of
newest software named ArcGIS Desktop version10 can be applied or not in
practicing of science of measure land lecturer. This research used descriptive
method with quantitative methodology and Geographic of Information System
(GIS) which is a branch of civil knowledge that needed and very important in civil
field. The research was held in Department of Education of Civil Technology at
University of Indonesia Education in December 2016 until January 2017 to the
students who took practice on the lecture of the science of measuring land in
2015/2016.
