Abstract

ABSTRAK Kontrol room portable merupakan alat yang dirancang untuk membantu penyandang disabilitas yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengendalikan peralatan listrik disekitarnya. Hal ini dikarenakan pergerakan yang lebih terbatas daripada manusia normal. Saat ini, terdapat banyak prinsip rumah dengan kontrol atau bahkan rumah pintar yang telah diterapkan. Salah satunya adalah pengontrolan ruangan atau rumah dengan menggunakan smartphone. Pada skripsi ini perancangan sistem kontrol ruangan portable dilakukan dengan meggunakan smartphone, arduino uno, modul bluetooth dan modul relay yang dihubungkan dengan kabel dan tanpa kabel. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode uji coba hingga menghasilkan sistem yang sesuai. Sistem yang dihasilkan dari hasil uji coba adalah menggunakan smartphone android sebagai pengendali yang memiliki tombol sebagai input dari sistem, dan memiliki output modul relay yang terhubung dengan piranti elektronik. Dari hasil sistem yang telah dibuat dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem bekerja dengan baik dan bisa berjalan dengan baik pada jarak 60 meter tanpa halangan dan jarak 20 meter dengan halangan. Kata Kunci: Arduino, Android, Bluetooth, penyandang disabilitas ABSTRACT A portable room controller is a device designed to assist people with disability who have a difficulty in controlling electrical devices around them. This difficulty is due to their incapability to behave like normal people do. Today, there are many smart houses equipped with controller systems. One of the applied systems is a room controller using smartphone. In this study, the design of portable room controller system is controlled using smartphone, ardunio uno, bluetooth module, and relay module that are connected by wires or wireless. The method used was testing method until resulting the proper system. The system produced from the testing result is by using android smartphone as the controller that has buttons as input from system, and has a relay module output which is connected with electronic devices. From the result, it can be concluded that the system worked properly and was able to be controlled from the maximum distance, 60 meters without any barriers and 20 meters with barriers.
