Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah produktivitas kerja pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) di Pemerintah Kota Cimahi yang belum optimal. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan hasil persentase realisasi pelaksanaan kebijakan daerah yang belum mencapai target yang seharusnya. Salah satu hal yang menyebabkan belum tercapainya target tersebut adalah motivasi kerja pegawai yang belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran motivasi kerja pegawai, gambaran produktivitas kerja pegawai dan adakah pengaruh motivasi terhadap produktivitas kerja pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) di Pemerintah Kota Cimahi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey eksplanasi. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket yang diperoleh dari 43 orang pegawai sebagai populasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel berada pada kategori sedang. Data berdistribusi normal dan berpola linier. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa variabel motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel produktivitas kerja pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) di Pemerintah Kota Cimahi. Saran yang diajukan bagi instansi bahwa: pertama, harus lebih memperhatikan kebutuhan pegawai terutama kebutuhan akan berprestasi; dan kedua, harus lebih memperhatikan kedisiplinan pegawai terutama dalam menghargai waktu sehingga pegawai dapat lebih bertanggung jawab di dalam bekerja. ; ---- The issue that is investigated in this research is the work productivity of employees at Department Local Staffing Cimahi Government that is not yet optimal. It is characterized by percentage yield progress in implementation of regional policies that has not yet reached the target should. One of the things that causes this is the employee motivation is not maximized. This research aims to find out the description of the level of motivation employees, the level of the productivity employees and there is an effect of the motivation to the productivity of employees at Department Local Staffing Cimahi Government. The method that is used is explanatory survey method. Data was collected using questionnaires obtained from 43 employees as the population. The data analysis technique that was used is simple linier regression test. Results of data analysis show that both variables are in the medium category. Data were normally distributed and in linear pattern. From the results of the hypothesis test, it is also obtained that there is a positive influence from the motivation of employees on the productivity of employees at Department Local Staffing Cimahi Government. The suggestions that are proposed to the government are: first, the government should pay more attention to employee needs, especially the need for achievement; and second, the government should pay more attention to employee discipline, especially in respect of time so that employees can be more responsible in working.
