Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh model Project-based Learning (PjBL) terhadap efikasi diri dan penguasaan konsep siswa SMA pada materi trayek pH indikator alami. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pretest posttest non equivalen control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 37 siswa kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan pembelajaran model PjBL, dan 36 siswa kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan pembelajaran model konvensional. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi, kuesioner efikasi diri, soal tes tertulis penguasaan konsep. Peningkatan efikasi diri dan penguasaan konsep dihitung berdasarkan perbedaan nilai pretest dan posttest dengan menggunakan rumus N-Gain. Perbedaan dua nilai rata-rata dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model PjBL terhadap efikasi diri dan penguasaaan konsep siswa, ditandai dengan peningkatan yang tidak signifikan. Peningkatan efikasi diri kelompok eksperimen berkategori sedang dan kelompok kontrol berkategori rendah. Peningkatan penguasaan konsep pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol berkategori sedang. Para guru diharapkan dapat mengimplementasi model PjBL khususnya pada materi trayek pH indikator alami yang merupakan pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa dalam peningkatan efikasi diri dan penguasaan konsep siswa.,---This study aims to analyze the influence of Project-based Learning (PjBL) model toward student’s self efficacy and mastery of concepts at the material of pH range natural indicator. The method used is quantitative with pretest posttest non equivalent control group design. Subject of the study consisted of 37 students who received the experimental group learning PjBL model, and 36 students as a control group who used learning of convensional . Research instruments used include observation sheet, self-efficacy questionnaire and a written test sheet mastery of concepts. The enchancement of self efficacy and mastery of concepts was measured based on differences of score pretest and posttest using the formula of N-Gain. The different between two means were analyzed by using t-test in significant degree of 0,05. The results showed that there are influence of model, PjBL toward student’s self efficacy and mastery of concepts at the material of pH range natural indicator signed with the enchancement but no significant. The enchancement self efficacy of experiment group in the medium category, and control group in low category. The enchancement mastery of concepts of experiment group and control group in the medium category.Teachers are expected to be able to implementing the model of PjBL specially at the material of pH range natural indicator which is students-centered in improvement self-efficacy and mastery of concepts students.
