    Abstract

    Cette étude vise à décrire l’Analyse de l’Abréviation du Français. Abréviation est l’un des processus morphologiques. Elle definie une action d’abréger. Abréviation de français se compose de la Siglaison, l’Acronyme, et la Troncation. Le sigle correspond à une suite des initiales de plusieurs mots qui forme un mot unique prononcé avec les noms des lettres par exemple « TGV /tɛ/,/ʒɛ/, /vɛ/ (Train à Grand Vitesse) ». Puis l’acronyme est un mot formé d’initiales ou de syllables de plusieurs mots, il est prononcé comme un mot ordinaire par exemple « DOM [dom] (Département d’Outre Mer) ». Ensuite la troncation, divisé en deux ; l’apocope et l’aphérèse. L’apocope est un type de troncation qui consiste à faire chuter la fin d’un mot par exemple « télé [tɛlɛ] (télévision) » et l’aphérèse est un type de troncation qui consiste à faire chuter le début du mot ou du groupe de mots pour n’en garder que la fin par exemple « bus [bus] (autobus) ».
