Abstract

Pada masa remaja, remaja pada umumnya sudah mulai mencari jati dirinya dan mulai banyak keinginan untuk melakukan berbagai aktivitas sosial. Berbeda dengan anak tunagrahita yang memiliki hambatan sebagai dampak dari ketunagrahitaannya dalam melakukan aktivitas sosial. Fokus dalam masalah ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku sosial remaja tunagrahita ringan di lingkungan sekolah (dalam aspek kerjasama, kemurahan hati, hasrat akan penerimaan sosial, simpati, empati, ketergantungan, sikap ramah, tidak mementingkan diri sendiri, meniru, dan perilaku kelekatan), mengetahui hambatan yang dialami remaja tunagrahita ringan di sekolah (dalam aspek kerjasama, kemurahan hati, hasrat akan penerimaan sosial, simpati, empati, ketergantungan, sikap ramah, tidak mementingkan diri sendiri, meniru, dan perilaku kelekatan) serta mengetahui upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk mengatasi hambatan perilaku sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap tiga siswa tunagrahita ringan dan guru kelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Remaja tunagrahita ringan menunjukkan perilaku soial pada aspek hasrat akan penerimaan sosial dan sikap ramah dan memiliki hambatan perilaku sosial pada spek empati. Upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam menangani hambatan dalam perilaku sosial remaja tunagrahita ringan di sekolah yaitu dengan cara memberikan bimbingan dan mengingatkan siswa secara terus menerus dalam semua aspek perilaku sosial.;--- In adolescence, teens in general have already started searching for her identity and started a lot of desire to perform a variety of social activities. In contrast to children with intellectual challenges that have barriers as a result of ketunagrahitaannya in social activities. The focus in this issue is to determine the social behavior of adolescent mental retardation mild in the school environment (in the aspect of cooperation, generosity, desire for social acceptance, sympathy, empathy, dependability, friendly attitude, unselfishness, imitate, and the behavior of attachment), knowing barriers experienced by adolescent mental retardation mild in school (in the aspect of cooperation, generosity, desire for social acceptance, sympathy, empathy, dependability, friendly attitude, unselfishness, imitate, and behavioral stickiness) and know the efforts made by teachers to cope barriers to social behavior. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Research carried out on three student mild mental retardation and classroom teacher. Data collected through observation, interviews and documentation study. Teens mild mental retardation show soial behavior on aspects of a desire for social acceptance and friendly attitude and social behavior have barriers on spec empathy. Efforts are made of teachers in overcoming the barriers of social behavior, mild mental retardation in school teenagers in particular by providing guidance and continually remind students in all aspects of social behavior.
