Abstract

Pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Bandung Barat dituntut untuk terus meningkatkan pendapatan asli daerah untuk kegiatan pembangunan daerah. Salah satu kawasan produktif yang fungsinya belum termaksimalkan adalah Kawasan Wisata Curug Pelangi. Hal ini terjadi karena belum ada data kuantitatif tentang nilai ekonomi dari Curug Pelangi sehingga penilaian yang dilakukan bersifat subyektif. Dengan demikian, dilakukan sebuah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai ekonomi dari kawasan wisata Curug Pelangi. Data dikumpulkan melalui survey langsung. Sampel yang diambil adalah wisatawan yang memiliki penghasilan tetap. Kuisioner yang disebarkan 500, dengan tingkat pengembalian 100%. Dari tiga hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini, hanya dua hipotesis yang terjawab yaitu kegiatan promosi kawasan wisata berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan kawasan wisata dan meningkatan fasilitas yang ada didalamnya.;---The Government of the City of West Bandung is demanded to keep increasing it’s area’s income to fund the area’s development programs. One of the most productive location whose function has not been maximized yet is Tourism spot “Curug Pelangi” (Pelangi Waterfall). The reason behind this condition is the absent of quantitative data of The Curug Pelangi’s economic value which cause the rating of the location has been taken subjectively. With that being said, researchers have made some research on the site to understand fully the economic value of “Curug Pelangi”. The data is gathered through direct survey. The samples that the researchers observed were tourists (domestic and internationals) with constant income. Researchers have spread 500 questionnaires with comeback rates of 100%. From the three hypotheses that the researchers estimated, only two among them that answered which are the promotion of this tourism spot significantly affect the income of that area and help improves its public facility as well.
