Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains melalui pembelajaran praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group Pretest-Posttest design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 31 siswa SMA kelas XI yang dibagi ke dalam tiga kategori kemampuan yaitu kelompok tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis, pedoman observasi, LKS dan wawancara. Peningkatan penguasaan konsep dihitung berdasarkan nilai pretes dan postes menggunakan rumus normalisasi gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 61,3 % (kategori sedang). Siswa kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah masing- masing mengalami peningkatan penguasaan konsep sebesar 59 %, 66%, 47%. Penguasaan konsep yang mengalami peningkatan tertinggi adalah konsep menentukan ciri-ciri reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm (79,09%) dan yang terendah adalah konsep penentuan ∆H reaksi yaitu 20,86 %. Berdasarkan hasil jawaban siswa pada tes menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan keterampilan proses sains (KPS) yaitu pada aspek mengajukan pertanyaan (73% ) ,berhipotesis (68 %), mengklasifikasikan (69%), menafsirkan hasil pengamatan (50%). menerapkan konsep (44%) dan merencanakan percobaan (19%). Berdasarkan wawancara, pada umumnya siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap implementasi pembelajaran inkuiri. Sebagian siswa merasa senang karena dapat berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran dan dapat melakukan percobaan sendiri, sehingga mudah dalam memahami materi.;--- This study aimed to obtain information on increasing mastery of concepts and science process skills through guided inquiry-based learning lab. The method used is pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. Subjects consisted of 31 high school students of class XI were divided into three categories namely the ability of high, medium and low. The research instrument used was a written test, observation guide, worksheets and interviews. Increased mastery of concepts is calculated based on the value pretest and posttest gain normalization using the formula. The results showed that the implementation of inquiry learning can enhance the mastery of concepts with N-Gain value of 61.3% (medium category). Students category of high, medium and low, respectively increased mastery of concepts by 59%, 66%, 47%. Mastery of concepts which experienced the highest increase is the concept characterize exothermic and endothermic reactions (79.09%) and the lowest is the concept of determining ΔH reaction is 20.86%. Based on the results of the students' answers on tests show that an increase in science process skills that is on the aspect of asking questions (73%), hypothesize (68%), classify (69%), interpreting the observations (50%), apply the concept (44%) and the planned trial (19%). Based on the interviews, in general, students gave positive feedback on the implementation of inquiry learning. Most students feel happy to be able to actively participate in learning and can experiment by yourself, so it's easy to understand the material.
