Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji hubungan antara kelekatan anak pada ibudengan rasa percaya diri anak taman kanak-kanak kelompok B di Kecamatan Padalarang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Oleh karena itu metode yang digunakan adalah korelasional. Penelitian ini melibatkan 174 anak yang dipilih melalui teknik sampling cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang disebarkan kepada ibu dan guru. Kelekatan diukur menggunakan Instrumen Attachment Q-Sort yang terdiri dari perilaku eksplorasi, respon kasih sayang dan kesadaran sosial. Instrumen Rasa percaya diri anak terdiri dari keyakinan kemampuan diri, optimis, tanggung jawab, sikap objektif dan rasional yang ditunjukan oleh anak. Analisis statistik untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kelekatan pada ibu dengan kepercayaan diri anak menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu 1) Profil kelekatan anak pada umumnya berada pada kategori kelekatan aman, 2) Profil kepercayaan diri anak pada umumnya berada pada kategori tinggi, 3) Hasil perhitungan menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kelekatan ibu dan anak dengan kepercayaan diri anak taman kanak-kanak. Besarnya korelasi adalah sebesar 0,395 dan tergolong dalam kategori rendah. Adapun perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh hasil sebesar 15,6 %, hal ini berarti terdapat 84,4 % kepercayaan diri anak yang dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti. ; This study aims to examine the relationship between child attachment to mother with the children confidently of kindergarten group B in District Padalarang, West Bandung regency. Therefore, the method used is correlational method. The study involved group B of 174 children in some kindergartens who were selected through cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to mothers and teachers. Attachment measured uses the Attachment Q-Sort instrument consisting of exploratory behavior, the response of compassion and social consciousness. Children confidently instrument consists of self-confidence ability, optimism, responsibility,the objective and rational attitude shown by the child. Statistical analysis to determine the relationship between attachment to mother and children confidently uses the product moment correlation. The results of this research are 1) Profile attachment of children generally are in the category secure attachment, 2) Profile confidence of children generally at the high category, 3) Calculation shows a significant relationship between attachment to mother and child with confident of children in kindergarten. The magnitude of the correlation is equal to 0,395 and classified in the low category. The calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained a yield of 15.6%, this means there is 84.4% confidence of children which are affected by other variables not examined by investigators.
