Abstract
Keberhasilan proses pembelajaran salah satunya dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SMK Negeri 1 Sukabumi bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik belum optimal yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor antara lain kurang teliti, pasif, dan kurang dalam kemampuan berhitung. Untuk memperbaiki capaian hasil belajar dapat digunakan variasi metode pembelajaran problem solving dan metode kerja kelompok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran mekanika teknik dari kelas yang menerapkan metode problem solving dan metode kerja kelompok sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan yang menerapkan metode latihan dan penugasan sebagai kelas kontrol. Adapun evaluasi pembelajarannya menggunakan assessment portofolio. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas X Paket Keahlian Konstruksi Batu Beton tahun ajaran 2015/2016 dengan jumlah sampel kelas eksperimen 17 orang dan kelas kontrol 16 orang. Data diperoleh dengan observasi dan tes. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan penilaian observasi, keaktifan peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen termasuk pada kategori baik, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol termasuk pada kategori cukup. Sedangkan hasil penilaian observasi aktivitas guru termasuk pada kategori baik di kedua kelas. Selain itu, pada hasil belajar aspek kognitif terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji peningkatan N-Gain pada kedua kelas yang sama-sama termasuk pada kategori sedang. Dengan hasil penelitian tersebut, penulis merekomendasikan kepada guru agar dapat lebih mengembangkan perancangan perangkat pembelajaran dengan sistematika yang baik untuk peserta didik agar mendapatkan hasil belajar yang optimal;--- The success of the learning process one of which can be seen from the results of learning. Based on observations in SMK Negeri 1 Sukabumi that learning outcomes have not been optimal influenced by factors including a lack accuracy, passive, and lacking the ability to count. To improve the achievement of learning outcomes can be used variety of learning methods of problem solving and group work method. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in learning outcomes of students in the subjects of engineering mechanics of the class that implements the method of problem solving and group work method as an experimental class, and apply the method of exercise and assignment as the control class. The learning evaluation using portfolio assessment. The research was conducted in class X Stone Concrete Construction Skills Package academic year 2015/2016 with a sample of the experimental class 17 and class 16 controls. Data obtained by observation and tests. Research shows that based on the assessment of observation, active students in the experimental class included in both categories, while the control class included in the category enough. While the results of the assessment of teacher activity observation included in both categories in both classes. In addition, the results of the cognitive aspects of learning there is a difference between the experimental class and control class. The test results of N-Gain in both classes are equally included in the category. With these findings, the authors recommend to teachers in order to further develop the systematic design of learning tools are either for learners to gain optimal learning results.
