Abstract

Kinerja merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam sebuah organisasi. Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah kurang optimalnya tingkat kinerja organisasional di Dinas Perkebunan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Untuk menghadapi berbagai permasalahan yang ada dalam perusahaan dibutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kinerja tinggi dalam bekerja untuk tercapainya tujuan yang telah ditetapkan oleh organisasi. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja adalah iklim organisasi dan motivasi kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat iklim organisasi, motivasi dan kinerja karyawan dalam organisasi serta pengaruh antara iklim organisasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 76 karyawan Dinas Perkebunan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah koefisien korelasi pearson product moment dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa iklim organisasi, motivasi dan kinerja karyawan di Dinas Perkebunan Provinsi Jawa Barat berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil perhitungan korelasi menunjukan adanya hubungan dengan tingkat sedang antara iklim organisasi, motivasi dan kinerja karyawan Dians Perkebunan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Besarnya pengaruh iklim organisasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja adalah sebesar 36% sedangkan sisanya 64% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti peneliti. Kata kunci : Iklim Organisasi, Motivasi dan Kinerja Karyawan Performance is one of the important things in the organization. The background of this study derives from the case that the performance of Department of Estate Crops in West Java Province lacks of optimality. Whereas the obstacles, that occur in corporation, needed human resource who are able to perform a good performane to achieve the goal of the corporation itself. One of the factors that making great influence is organizational climate and motivation. The aim of this study is to investigate the level of organizational climate, motivation and the performance of employees in the organization. This study also investigates the influence of organizational climate and motivation toward the performance of employees. This study is using descriptive and verificative method in collecting the data. The population of this study is 76 employees of Department of Estate Crops in West Java Province. The data further analyses using correlation coeffecient pearson product moment and multiple linear regression. The result of the study shows that organizational climate, motivation and the performance of employees in Department of Estate Crops in West Java Province placed in average level. The calculation of the correlation also shows that there is a relationship between the average level and organizational climates, motivation and the performance of employees in Department of Estate Crops in West Java Province. The great influence of organizational climates towards the performance is about 36%. Whereas, there is also 64% of result which is influenced by another factor that does not investigated by the researcher. Keywords: Organizational Climates, Motivation and Employee Performance
