Abstract
Permasalahan yang dikaji penelitian ini adalah motivasi kerja karyawan Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat yang belum optimal, ditandai dengan adanya ketidakhadiran, keterlambatan, dan penilaian kinerja karyawan. Permasalahan ini harus segera di atasi karena apabila tidak segera ditangani akan menghambat tujuan lembaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pelatihan dan pengembangan karier serta motivasi kerja karyawan Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Aspek yang diteliti meliputi tiga hal yaitu pelatihan dan pengembangan karier serta motivasi kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini mengggunakan metode deskriptif dan verikatif, metode penelitan yang digunakan explanatory survey. Populasi berjumlah 100 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah koefisien korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Pelatihan dan Pengembangan Karier memiliki hubungan positif dengan motivasi kerja karyawan Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Hal tersebut dilihat dari hasil nilai koefisien korelasi secara bersama-sama antara pelatihan dan pengembangan karier dengan motivasi kerja adalah 0,280. Pada tabel interpretasi koefesien korelasi nilai tersebut berada pada interval 0,20-0,399 atau berada pada tingkat hubungan rendah, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan dan pengembangan karier memiliki korelasi dengan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama. ---------- Examined the problems that this research is motivation of the labor department of education employees west java province that is not optimal , characterized by the absence , delay , and employee performance assessment .This problem must be overcome in because if not solved soon would hinder the agency. This research aims to understand the image of training and career development as well as employees motivation work the provincial education office west java .The treatment aspects covering three things which were training and career development as well as employees motivation work .This research mengggunakan descriptive method and verikatif , a method of penelitan used explanatory survey .Population a total of 100 respondents .Engineering the analysis used the correlation coefficient is pearson product moment . The research results showed training and career development having a positive relationship with the motivation work department of education employees west java province.This is seen from the results of the value of a correlation coefficient jointly between training and career development with motivation employment is 0,280.In table interpretation correlation koefesien value are located at intervals 0,20-0,399 or be at the level of relations low so that we can conclude that training and career development having the correlation with motivation work jointly.
