    Abstract

    Masalah yang menjadi kajian dari penelitian ini adalah mengenai promosi jabatan pegawai yang tidak sesuai dengan kemampuan dan keterampilan akibat dari pelaksanaan promosi jabatan yang subjektifitas dikarenakan kurang memadainya supply data yang diperlukan untuk mendukung pelaksanaan promosi jabatan pegawai. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara sistem informasi kepegawaian dengan promosi jabatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket (kuesioner), studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik korelasi Rank Spearman. Adapun indikator sistem informasi kepegawaian (Variable X) yang diukur dalam penelitian ini meliputi (1) informasi perencanaan tenaga kerja, (2) informasi manajemen tenaga kerja, (3) informasi lingkungan kerja. Indikator promosi jabatan (Variabel Y) meliputi (1) prestasi kerja, (2) kecakapan, (3) senioritas, (4) keadilan, (5) kompetensi, (6) tanggung jawab. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa Sistem Informasi Kepegawaian memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan promosi jabatan pegawai. Uji Korelasi Rank Spearman termasuk dalam kategori hubungan “sedang atau cukup”. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Sistem Informasi Kepegawaian mempunyai hubungan yang sedang atau cukup dengan promosi jabatan. ---------- The problem of this research study is about the promotion of employees who are not in accordance with the abilities and skills as a result of the implementation of the promotion that subjectivity also due to the insufficient supply of data needed to support the implementation of the promotion of employees. The purpose of this study was to determine how the relationship between human resource information systems to promotion. The method used in this research is a survey method, with data collection in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire), study the documentation, and interviews. Data analysis technique used was Spearman Rank correlation techniques. The indicator personnel information system (Variable X) are measured in this study include (1) the information workforce planning, (2) labor management information, (3) information about the work environment. Indicators of promotion (variable Y) include (1) performance, (2) competence, (3) seniority, (4) justice, (5) competence, (6) responsibility. Based on the analysis of data that has been done can be seen that the Human Resources Information System has a positive and significant correlation with the promotion of employees. Spearman Rank Correlation Test are included in the category of relation "moderate or sufficient". This shows that the Human Resources Information System have a relationship that is or simply by promotion.
