Abstract

Dalam bidang pendidikan, laboratorium merupakan kelengkapan fasilitas pembelajaran yang tidak boleh terabaikan. Praktikum sebagai kegiatan di laboratorium sangat bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa seperti memperoleh wawasan dan keyakinan tentang teori ilmiah yang diperoleh dari percobaan / pembuktian pada praktikum yang dilakukan. Pembelajaran di laboratorium harus terselenggara dengan efektif sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran seberapa efektifnya pembelajaran praktikum dibeberapa laboratorium Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Sipil Fakultas Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 70 mahasiswa dari jumlah populasi 281 mahasiswa yang pernah mengikuti perkuliahan Praktik Mekanika Tanah, Praktik Ilmu Ukur Tanah dan Praktik Komputer angkatan 2011, 2012 dan 2013 Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Sipil Fakultas Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Dari hasil uji reliabilitas, instrumen dinyatakan reliabel dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan analisis data maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa gambaran umum dari pembelajaran praktikum di tiga laboratorium yaitu laboratorium mekanika tanah, laboratorium Survey Pemetaan dan laboratorium komputer dinyatakan efektif dengan kriteria cukup baik. Tingkat efektivitas pembelajaran praktikum di laboratorium dilihat dari aspek persiapan pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran di laboratorium, fasilitas di laboratorium dan hasil (nilai) pembelajaran termasuk pada tingkatan cukup baik. ---------- Practical Learning Effectiveness in Civil Engineering Laboratory of the Ministry of Education FPTK UPI Saddam Juhendi (0807790) In education, the laboratory is a complete learning facilities that should not be overlooked. Practicum as an activity in the laboratory is very useful for students such as gain insights and beliefs about scientific theories derived from experimental / demonstration of the practical work done. Learning in the laboratory must be effective to achieve the learning objectives. This study purposes to describe how effective teaching practicum in several laboratories of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Department of Education Technology Education and Vocational Education University of Indonesia. This research is a descriptive study using quantitative research methods. Data collection instruments using questionnaires. The sample in this study were 70 students from a population of 281 students who attended the lecture Soil Mechanics Practice, Practice Measure Soil Science and Practice of Computer class of 2011, 2012 and 2013 the Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Education Technology Education and Vocational Education University of Indonesia. From the results of the reliability test, the instrument otherwise reliable with very high criteria. Based on the data analysis it could be concluded that a general description of the learning lab at three laboratories, namely laboratory soil mechanics, laboratory and computer laboratory Survey Mapping declared effective by the criteria well enough. The effectiveness of teaching practicum in the lab from the aspects of the preparation of learning, the learning process in the laboratory, laboratory facilities and the results (grades) included on the level of learning well enough.
