Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah usaha ternak Kelinci di Desa Gudang Kahuripan, Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat masih belum efisien dalam menggunakan faktor-faktor produksi yang ada sehingga hasil produksi kelinci masih belum maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi pada usaha ternak kelinci telah mencapai efisiensi optimum dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat skala ekonomi pada proses produksi kelinci di Desa Gudang Kahuripan, Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan model fungsi Cobb- Douglas untuk menganalisis efisiensi produksi yang terdiri dari efisiensi teknik, efisiensi harga, dan efisiensi ekonomi. Objek penelitiannya adalah peternak kelinci di Desa Gudang Kahuripan, Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat berjumlah delapan puluh sembilan responden. Hasil analisis efisiensi produksi menunjukan bahwa secara teknis penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi kelinci pada usaha ternak kelinci tidak efisien. Berdasarkan perhitungan efisiensi harga, penggunaan faktor produksi berupa tenaga kerja, bibit, dan pakan terhadap produksi kelinci tidak efisien karena tidak mencpai titik optimum. Berdasarkan perhitungan efisiensi ekonomi, , penggunaan faktor produksi berupa tenaga kerja, bibit, dan pakan terhadap produksi kelinci belum efisien. Skala hasil penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi kelinci berada pada kondisi Increasing Return To Scale. ---------- The problem of the research is rabbit breeding in Gudang Kahuripan Village, Lembang, West Bandung Regency was not efficient in the use of factors of production so the production result is not maximized. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of factors of production in rabbit breeding has reached optimum efficiency and to determine how the level of economic of scale in the production process of rabbits in Gudang Kahuripan village, Lembang, West Bandung Regency. This research used a descriptive analytical methods with technical analysis of the data using the model of Cobb-Douglas function to analyze the efficiency of production consisting of technical efficiency, price efficiency, and economics efficiency. The object of this research is rabbit breeders in Gudang Kahuripan village,Lembang, West Bandung Regency was totaled eighty nine respondent. Production efficiency analyzed result that the use of technical factors in rabbit breeding is inefficient. Based on the calculation of price efficiency the used of production factors such as labor, livestock breeds, and feed of rabbit production inefficient because it hasn’t reached the optimum point. Based of calculation of economics efficiency the used of production factors such as labor, livestock breeds, and feed has not reached efficiency. While the level of production scale in rabbit breeding in Gudang Kahuripan village, Lembang, West Bandung Regency are on Increasing Return To Scale.
