Abstract
Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya nilai hasil UTS mata pelajaran IPA, hal ini ditandai dengan 48,4% siswa memiliki nilai yang masih di bawah KKM, juga cara mengajar guru masih bersifat konvensional. Penelitian ini ditujukan pada penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe NHT dalam pembelajaran IPA pada materi Bumi dan Alam Semesta berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai adalah: (1) mengetahui perencanaan pembelajaran IPA materi Bumi dan Alam Semesta dengan model cooperative learning tipe NHT di kelas IV A SDN 1 Langensari, (2) mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA materi Bumi dan Alam Semesta dengan model cooperative learning tipe NHT di kelas IV A SDN 1 Langensari, dan (3) mengetahui peningkatan nilai hasil belajar siswa kelas IV A SDN 1 Langensari dengan Model Cooperative Learning tipe NHT. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang megadaptasi model Kemmis & Taggart dengan dua siklus, pada setiap siklusnya dilakukan satu tindakan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A semester II SDN 1 Langensari-Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat yang berjumlah 31 orang. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Learning Tipe NHT pada pembelajaran IPA menunjukkan adanya peningkatan proses pembelajaran, terlihat siswa sangat senang bekerja dalam kelompok masing-masing, demikian pula perolehan nilai dalam pembelajaran IPA materi bumi dan alam semesta. Pada siklus pertama nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 72,4 atau sebanyak 74% siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM. Pada siklus kedua nilai rata-rata mencapai 88,2 atau sebanyak 92,3% siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan nilai hasil belajar siswa pada materi bumi dan alam semesta. Ada beberapa saran yang hendak disampaikan, antara lain: (1)pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe NHT dapat menjadi alternative untuk pembelajaran di kelas, (2) bagi yang akan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe NHT hendaknya memperhatikan perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan, dan memperhatikan pengelolaan waktu, dan (3) bagi peneliti lainnya bahwa penelitian ini bisa dijadikan sebagai bahan kajian untuk pengembangan penelitian selanjutnya. Background research was triggered by the low value of the midterm results of SCIENCE subjects, it is characterized by 48.4% of students have a value which is still below the KKM, how to teach teachers also are still conventional in nature. This research is aimed at the implementation of models of Cooperative Learning in teaching-SCIENCE type of NHT on Earth and Universe material based on these problems, then the research objectives are to be achieved are: (1) find out the planning of learning materials for SCIENCE of the Earth and the universe with the NHT's type of cooperative learning’s model in the class IV A SDN 1 langensari, (2) figure out the implementation of a SCIENCE learning material in the Earth and the universe with cooperative learning’s model NHT's type in the class IV A SDN 1 Langensari, and (3) knowing the increased of value from learning outcomes in the class IV A SDN 1 Langensari with cooperative learning’s model NHT's type. The methods used in this research is the Research Action class (PTK) which adapt from the Kemmis & Taggart's model with two cycles, each cycle is performed one action. The subject of this study are students in the class IV A semester II SDN 1 Langensari-Lembang West Bandung Regency, totaled 31 person. research using Cooperative Learning model showed an increase on the learning procces. The students is look very happy working in groups, also in the result of their scores on the science subject of earth and universe. On the first cycle, student’s average score is 72,4 or 74% of the students achieving KKM score. On the second cycle, student’s average score is 88.2 or 92,3% of the students achiving kkm score. According to the result of this research, we can conclude that implementation of the Coorperatove Learning model type NHT can improved the student’s score on the earth and universe subject. There are few suggestion: (1) learning with the implementation of Cooperative Learning NHT type, can be an alternative to the learning method (2) for the teacher who want to use cooperative learning NHT type should notice the planning of the learning, implementation, and the time management. (3) for other researcher, this research can be used as a source to develop the next reseach.
