Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah adanya berbagai tantangan dan kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa kelas XII di sekolah menengah atas diantaranya tuntutan akademik yang tinggi, kesiapan dalam menghadapi masyarakat sosial dan persiapan melanjutkan pendidikan pada jenjang yang lebih tinggi sehingga diperlukan daya juang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas layanan bimbingan klasikal untuk meningkatkan daya juang siswa kelas XII SMA N 1 Banjarsari. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas XII SMA N 1 Banjarsari dengan menggunakan teknik non randomly assignment. Metode pengumpulan data adalah instrumen daya juang, jenis desain dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik desain nonequivalent (pre test dan post test) control group design. Analisis data menggunakaan uji paired t test dan deskriptif setiap tahap pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan klasikal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan; (1) profil daya juang siswa kelas XII SMA N 1 Banjarsari pada umumnya berada pada ketegori sedang; (2) program satuan layanan bimbingan klasikal meliputi bidang belajar, karir, pribadi dan sosial; dan (3) secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan klasikal efektif untuk meningkatkan daya juang siswa kelas XII SMA N 1 Banjarsari. The background of this research is the presence of various challenges and difficulties faced on students of class XII in high schools including high academic demands, readiness in the face of real community social and preparedness education to a higher level so that the required high adversity quotient. This research aim to examine the effectiveness of classroom guidance to improve adversity quotient of students class XII SMA N 1 Banjarsari. The study uses a quantitative approach. The method used is a quasi experiment with non-randomly assignment technique. Data was collected by instrument of adversity quotients with nonequivalent (pretest and posttest) control group design techniques type. Data was analyzed by paired t test and descriptive test for every stage of classroom implementation tutoring services. The result showed; (1) adversity quotient profile of students class XII SMA N 1 Banjarsari in general are in the category of medium; (2) classroom guidance program including academic, career, personal and social; and (3) The results showed that the classroom guidance effective to improve the adversity quotient of students class XII SMA N 1 Banjarsari.
