Abstract
Penelitian ini berisi tentang deskripsi pengendalian sosial yang dilakukan pihak kepolisian, pihak sekolah dan pihak keluarga kepada peserta didik SMA pelanggar peraturan lalu lintas sepeda motor di Kota Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk pengendalian sosial yang telah dilakukan pihak kepolisian, pihak sekolah dan pihak orang tua kepada peserta didik SMA pelanggar peraturan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini berawal dari ketertarikan peneliti akan masalah tingginya pelanggaran lalu lintas yang dilakukan peserta didik SMA di Kota Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara bertahap, observasi partisipasi pasif, dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pula bentuk-bentuk pelanggaran lalu lintas yang dilakukan peserta didik di Kota Tasikmalaya, faktor-faktor penyebab pelanggaran lalu lintas oleh peserta didik SMA di Kota Tasikmalaya, bentuk-bentuk pengendalian sosial yang dilakukan kepada para peserta didik pelanggar peraturan lalu lintas, kendala yang dirasakan pihak-pihak pengendali sosial dalam memberikan pengendalian sosial kepada peserta didik pelanggar peraturan lalu lintas di Kota Tasikmalaya, serta upaya dalam menghadapi kendala dalam pengendalian sosial terhadap pelanggaran lalu lintas oleh peserta didik SMA di Kota Tasikmalaya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk pengendalian sosial yang dilakukan pihak-pihak yang berwenang dalam memberikan pengendalian sosial kepada para peserta didik pelanggar peraturan lalu lintas belum cukup baik untuk membuat para peserta didik mentaati dan peraturan lalu lintas. Saran dalam penelitian ini untuk pihak kepolisian agar lebih mengintensifkan sosialisasi peraturan lalu lintas ke sekolah-sekolah, memgimplementasikan kerjasama yang telah dibuat dengan Dinas Pendidikan setempat dan meningkatkan pengefektifan sanksi. Saran untuk pihak sekolah meningkatkan partisipasi peserta didik dalam kegiatan ekskul PKS. Saran untuk pihak keluarga untuk lebih meningkatkan pengawasan, pemberian pengetahuan mengenai lalu lintas, serta pemberian kendaraan bermotor secara bijak This research containing about a description of social control by the police, school and the family to a student high school trespasser traffic regulation motorcycles in city Tasikmalaya. Research aims to know forms social control had done the police, the school and the parents to student high school trespasser traffic rules. Research this went from interest researchers will issue the high traffic offenses committed learners high school in town Tasikmalaya.This research using methods descriptive by approach qualitative. Technical data in this research using interviews stages, observation participation passive, and study documentation. The study also describes the forms of traffic offenses committed learners in the town of Tasikmalaya, factors cause of traffic violations by high school students in the town of tasikmalaya, forms of social control undertaken to students scofflaw traffic, barriers perceived social governing parties in providing social control to the students scofflaw traffic in the town of Tasikmalaya, as well as efforts in the face of obstacles in the social control of traffic violations by high school students in the town of Tasikmalaya. The results of this study indicate that these forms of social control made the authorized parties in providing social control to the learners Scofflaw traffic has not been good enough to make the learners to obey traffic rules and regulations. Suggestions in this study for the police to intensify the dissemination of traffic regulations to the schools, the implementation of the cooperation that had been made by the local Office of education and enhance the effectiveness of sanctions. Suggestions for improving the participation of the school students in extracurricular activities of the PKS. Suggestions for family parties to further improve supervision, provision of knowledge of traffic, as well as the granting of motor vehicles wisely.
