Abstract
Kemajuan teknologi yang sangat pesat dan dinamis di era milenium membuat arus informasi semakin cepat dan mudah. Perkembangan teknologi ini terjadi pada semua alat elektronik diantaranya yaitu, televisi. Dalam kurun waktu yang relatif singkat perkembangan percepatan model, fitur, program tayangan, dan stasiun televisi negeri atau swasta dalam televisi sangat signifikan, sehingga persebaran nilai-nilai budaya melalui inovasi program televisi akan cepat berpengaruh terhadap tatanan nilai budaya masyarakat terutama masyarakat usia remaja, yaitu melalui program tayangan sinetron yang ditonton setiap hari. Ada beberapa penelitian yang hampir serupa dengan penelitian ini, yang menyatakan bahwa menonton tayangan sinetron berpengaruh terhadap gaya hidup remaja, yang menyangkut pada gaya berpakaian, gaya berbicara dan pergaulan atau pertemanan. Efek dari media televisi yang memuat tayangan sinetron ini seperti teori jarum hipodermik, yaitu teori yang mempunyai pengaruh sangat kuat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh antara tayangan sinetron terhadap gaya hidup remaja di kecamatan Leuwimunding. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif. Variable independen adalah tayangan sinetron dan sebagai variable dependenya yaitu gaya hidup remaja di kecamatan Leuwimunding. Untuk populasinya adalah seluruh remaja di desa yang telah dipilih secara acak yaitu 3 desa pada usia 15-19 tahun di kecamatan Leuwimunding kabupaten Majalengka sebanyak 936 , teknik penggunaan sampel menggunakan acidental sampel berjumlah 90 anak usia remaja dimana apabila ada anak yang masuk kedalam kriteria inklusi penelitian maka akan diminta kesediaanya untuk mengisi kuesioner yang telah disediakan. Penelitian ini dimulai pada tanggal 24 april 2014 – 1 mei 2014. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, maka terdapat hubungan antara pengaruh tayangan sinetron dengan gaya berpakaian, gaya berbicara maupun pertemanan/pergaulan remaja di kecamatan Leuwimunding yang cukup signifikan. Hasil penelitian ini semoga dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai pengaruh tayangan sinetron terhadap gaya hidup remaja sehingga remaja dapat menjadi penonton yang lebih cerdas yang dapat memilah mana yang akan diikuti atau mana yang akan ditinggalkan. The rapid technological advancements and dynamic in the new millennium makes the information flow more quickly and easily. The development of technology occurs in all electronic devices such as the television. In a relatively short period of accelerated development of models, features, programs impressions, and private television stations in the country or television is very significant, so the spread of cultural values through rapid innovation of television programs will give more influences to the cultural value of society especially the teens, which is sinetron programs that watched every day. There are several researches that are similar to this research, which stated that watching sinetron can influenced on the teenagers lifestyle, which involves the use of dress, speech and friendship style. The influences of television contains this sinetrons like hypodermic needle theory, the theory has a very strong influence. This study aims to determine there is influence between the sinetrons and Leuwimunding teenagers lifestyle. The research’s type used in this study is descriptive. The independent variable is the sinetrons and the dependent variable is Leuwimunding teenagers life style. The population of the reseach is teenagers in villages who 15 to 19 years old and have been randomly selected from 3 villages in Leuwimunding as much as 936. The use of sampling techniques in this research is acidental techniques sampling and the sample total of the research is 90 teenagers and when the teenagers clasified into inclusion criteria it will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that willingness has been provided. The study began on the 24th April 2014-1 May 2014. The results of research showed there is a significant correlation between sinetrons influence among the style of dress, style of speaking and teenagers friendships or relationships in Leuwimunding. The results of the research hopefully can improve insight and knowledge about the influence sinetrons to teenagers lifestyle so teenagers can be more intelligent audience to decide which ones will be followed or which ones will be left behind.
