Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar matematika pada siswa tunanetra di SLBN A Citeureup kota Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi yang ditujukan kepada guru dan siswa tunanetra di SLBN A Citeureup kota Cimahi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan guru sudah melaksanakan tahapan-tahapan mengajar dengan baik, akan tetapi ada beberapa kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh guru seperti keterbatasan alat peraga, penyediaan buku sumber, lingkungan yang kurang kondusif, serta waktu belajar matematika yang kurang. Harapan siswa tunanetra dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar matematika yaitu guru yang sabar, tersedianya alat peraga yang memadai, adanya buku sumber untuk siswa, serta memperbanyak parktek atau latihan soal-soal baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. This research aims to observe mathematic learning activites on blind student at slbn a citeureup cimahi city. The analysis method used is descriptive method with qualitative approachment. The method used for collecting the data are interview, observation and documentation study that are showed toward the teachers and blind students at SLBN A Citeureup Cimahi city. The result of this research shows that overall the teachers have done the steps of teaching well, but there are some difficulties that the teacher had such as the availability of instrument, the availability of subject book, the conductivity of surrounding, and the lack of time for learning. The students expect that the teachers have more patience, provide more supporting instrument, provide books that contain subject learning for students and give more tasks or practical time at both school and home.
