    Abstract

    Gadget sebagai bentuk berkembangnya teknologi komunikasi dan informasi menjadi lebih praktis dan canggih, merupakan bagian dari kehidupan masyarakat modern saat ini yang menjadi suatu kebutuhan penting dalam setiap aktivitas kehidupan. Penggunaan gadget sebagai media pembelajaran harus dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien, mampu membangun suasana belajar mengajar yang mudah, menyenangkan, kritis, dan kreatif bagi siswa. Bagaimana implementasi penggunaan media gadget untuk memberi kemudahan dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran PKn, maka dibuat rumusan masalah sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaiamana penggunaan media gadget oleh para siswa di kelas XI SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI? (2) Apa saja indikator kemudahan dari penggunaan media gadget dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran PKn di kelas XI SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI? (3) Bagaimana pengawasan pihak Sekolah terhadap penggunaan media gadget dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran PKn di kelas XI SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI? (4) Apa saja yang menjadi kendala penggunaan media gadget dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran PKn di kelas XI SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI? (5) Bagaimana tindakan yang dilakukan dalam upaya mencapai hasil positif bagi penggunaan media gadget dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran PKn di kelas XI SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI? Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI, sedangkan yang menjadi subjek adalah Pelaksana Pendidikan berkaitan dengan media pembelajaran seperti guru PDK, guru PKn, Wakasek Kurikulum, Wakasek Kesiswaan, dan siswa kelas XI SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Hasil Penelitian yang penulis peroleh yaitu: (1) Penggunaa media gadget di SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI bertujuan untuk mempermudah, memberikan inovasi, referensi belajar, dan sarana interaksi antara guru dengan siswa untuk kelancaran proses pembelajaran PKn. (2) Indikator kemudahan dalam proses pembelajaran PKn yaitu metode yang tepat, melatih siswa untuk kritis dan demokratis, dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan tidak monoton. (3) Pengawasan penggunaan media gadget dilaksanakan pihak sekolah dalam bentuk CCTV, pengawasan oleh guru, dan pengawasan melalui razia. (4) Kesulitan penggunaan media gadget yaitu sinyal internet acsses yang lemah, SDM untuk mengurus fasilitas Sekolah, kesiapan guru merealisasikan e-learning, penyalahgunaan gadget, pengawasan guru terkendala jam pelajaran yang pendek dan komunikasi. (5) Pembiasaan positif dalam penggunaan gadget yaitu saat siswa disiplin dalam menentukan waktu penggunaan gadget, pembiasaan menghargai karya saat mengakses internet, bertanggung jawab dan jujur dengan tidak mengakses konten-konten yang dilarang.

    Gadget as a product of the advancement of communication and information is currently part of a lifestyle of modern society that becomes a necessity in everyday's life. The use of gadget medium of learning should be conducted effectively and efficiently, able to build a learning atmosphere which are easy, fun, critical, and creative for students. How is the implementation of the use of gadget medium to provide an easiness in the implementation of Civics learning process, thus the problem formulations are as follow: (1) How is the use of gadget medium by students in class XI SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI? (2) What are indicators of the easiness of the use of gadget medium in the implementation of Civics learning process in class XI SMA Laboraturium Percontohan UPI? (3) How is the school control towards the use of gadget medium in the implementation of Civics learning process in class XI SMA Laboraturium Percontohan UPI? (4) What are the obstacles in the use of gadget medium in the implementation of Civics learning process in class XI SMA Laboraturium Percontohan UPI? (5) What act is taken in order to achieve positive results for the use of gadget medium in the implementation of Civics learning process in class XI SMA Laboraturium Percontohan UPI? The approach taken in this study is qualitative, whereas the method used is case study. This research was conducted in SMA Laboraturium Percontohan UPI. While the subjects are education implementers related to the instructional media such as PDK teacher, Civics teacher, Vice Principal of Curriculum, Vice Principal of Student, and students in class XI SMA Laboraturium Percontohan UPI. The results of the study that the author obtained: (1) The use of gadget in SMA Laboraturium Percontohan UPI aims to facilitate, provide information, as a reference to learn and means of interaction between teachers and students in order to smooth Civics learning process, (2) Indicators of the easiness in Civics learning process are supported learning process with appropriate methods, train students to be critical and democratic, and the use of media that is interesting and not monotonous. (3) Supervision of the use of gadget medium is implemented in school through CCTV, supervision by teachers and raids. (4) The difficulties of the use of gadget medium are weak internet access, lack of human resources to take care of school facilities, teacher readiness to apply e-learning, gadgets abuse by students, supervision by a teacher is constrained by the short hours of lessons and lack of communication between teachers and students. (5) Positive habituation in the use of gadget are when the teacher stimulates students to be discipline in determining the time of using gadget, the habituation to make students able to appreciate the work/writing of others when accessing the internet, the habituation to make students be responsible and honest with no access to content that is prohibited.
