    Abstract

    Ketersediaan air bersih menjadi tantangan utama di wilayah pesisir, seperti di Labuan Bajo, Kabupaten Manggarai Barat, terutama di tengah pesatnya pertumbuhan penduduk dan pariwisata. Sebagian besar masyarakat masih mengandalkan air tanah sebagai sumber utama air bersih. Kondisi ini diperburuk oleh letak geografis Labuan Bajo yang berada di kawasan pesisir serta pesatnya pertumbuhan penduduk dan industri pariwisata. Hal ini memberikan dampak terhadap kualitas air dan kebutuhan air yang meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kualitas air tanah berdasarkan karakteristik pH, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), dan Daya Hantar Listrik (DHL), dengan pendekatan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG. Analisis spasial dilakukan menggunakan metode interpolasi kriging untuk memperkirakan nilai di lokasi yang tidak teramati. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara langsung (in-situ) pada 141 titik sumur gali, dilengkapi dengan pengukuran muka air tanah (MAT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wilayah yang berada dekat garis pantai khususnya di Kelurahan Labuan Bajo memilki nilai TDS dan DHL yang melebihi ambang batas, yaitu TDS hingga 2.270 mg/L dan DHL mencapai 4.450 mg/L, sedangkan pH cenderung tinggi mencapai 8,1 namun masih pada batas aman baku mutu. Penrapan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dengan interpolasi kriging terbukti mampu menggambarkan distribusi spasial kualitas air tanah secara menyeluruh di wilayah penelitian. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pemantauan dan penegolaan air tanah secara berkelanjutan, untuk menjaga ketersediaan air bersih di wilayah pesisir. The availability of clean water is a major challenge in coastal areas, such as Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, especially amid rapid population and tourism growth. Most people still rely on groundwater as their main source of clean water, a situation exacerbated by Labuan Bajo's geographical location on the coast and its rapid growth in terms of both population and the tourism industry. This has an impact on water quality and increasing water demand. This study aims to map groundwater quality based on pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and Electrical Conductivity (EC) characteristics, using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach. Spatial analysis was performed using the kriging interpolation method to estimate values at unobserved locations. Data collection was conducted directly (in-situ) at 141 dug well points, accompanied by groundwater level (GWL) measurements. The results showed that areas near the coastline, especially in Labuan Bajo Village, had TDS and EC values exceeding the threshold, namely TDS up to 2,270 mg/L and EC reaching 4,450 mg/L, while the pH tended to be high at 8.1 but still within the safe quality standard limit. The application of Geographic Information System (GIS) with kriging interpolation proved capable of comprehensively depicting the spatial distribution of groundwater quality in the study area. These findings emphasize the importance of continuous groundwater monitoring and management to maintain the availability of clean water in coastal areas.
