    Abstract

    Perancangan Terminal Penumpang Bandar Udara H.A.S. Hanandjoeddin Belitung bertujuan untuk menciptakan fasilitas yang memenuhi standar internasional sekaligus mencerminkan identitas budaya lokal Belitung melalui penerapan konsep arsitektur Neo Vernakular. Perancangan ini berfokus pada optimalisasi tata ruang, efisiensi sirkulasi, dan kenyamanan pengguna dengan mempertimbangkan aspek fungsional, estetika, serta keberlanjutan lingkungan. Konsep Neo Vernakular diterapkan melalui penggunaan bentuk arsitektur tradisional Belitung, pemanfaatan material lokal, dan desain yang beradaptasi dengan iklim tropis. Selain itu, terminal ini dirancang dengan pendekatan yang memperhatikan pengalaman pengguna, serta fleksibilitas dalam pengembangan masa depan. Diharapkan, perancangan ini dapat meningkatkan daya tarik wisata, mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah, dan memperkuat peran bandara sebagai gerbang utama menuju Belitung. The design of the Passenger Terminal at H.A.S. Hanandjoeddin Airport in Belitung aims to create a facility that meets international standards while reflecting the local cultural identity of Belitung through the application of Neo-Vernacular architecture. This design focuses on optimizing spatial layout, circulation efficiency, and user comfort by considering functional, aesthetic, and environmental sustainability aspects. The Neo-Vernacular concept is implemented through the use of traditional Belitung architectural forms, local materials, and climate-responsive design. Additionally, the terminal is designed with an approach that prioritizes user experience, integration with transportation systems, and flexibility for future development. This design is expected to enhance tourism appeal, support regional economic growth, and strengthen the airport’s role as the main gateway to Belitung.
