Abstract
Banyak lembaga pendidikan yang mewajibkan siswa/mahasiswanya melakukan kegiatan Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) baik tingkat SMK/sederajat maupun universitas sebagai salah satu syarat untuk menyelesaikan pendidikannya. Siswa/mahasiswa tersebut harus mencari lembaga atau perusahaan yang menerima siswa/mahasiswa PKL. Salah satu perusahaan tersebut adalah PT. INTI. PT. INTI telah membuka penerimaan siswa/mahasiswa PKL sejak tahun 2007. Dalam proses perekrutan ini harus diperoleh siswa/mahasiswa PKL yang berkompeten yaitu siswa/mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan sehingga siswa/mahasiswa tersebut akan bertanggungjawab atau menyelesaikan tugas yang telah diberikan oleh perusahaan. Untuk itu dibangunlah sistem pendukung keputusan dengan tujuan memperoleh siswa/mahasiswa yang bertanggungjawab dan sesuai dengan kriteria yang dibutuhkan perusahaan. Sistem pendukung keputusan ini menggunakan metode Weighted Product (WP) dan metode Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Metode WP dapat menggunakan nilai yang sebenarnya dalam menentukan rating dari setiap alternatif pada setiap kriteria, sedangkan metode TOPSIS dianggap cukup intuitif yang didasarkan pada pertimbangan jarak dan solusi ideal. Metode-metode ini dapat menentukan nilai bobot untuk setiap atribut, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan proses perankingan yang akan menyeleksi alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif. Kedua metode tersebut akan merekomendasikan siswa/mahasiswa PKL terbaik berdasarkan perhitungannya masing-masing. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, disimpulkan bahwa walaupun metode TOPSIS memiliki tingkat kompleksitas lebih tinggi yaitu 8 dibandingkan metode WP yang memiliki tingkat kompleksitas 5, namun metode TOPSIS memiliki tingkat akurasi lebih tinggi yaitu 73% dibandingkan metode WP yang memiliki tingkat akurasi 67%, dan metode WP memiliki performa lebih tinggi yaitu 100% stabil dibandingkan metode TOPSIS yang memiliki performa 80% stabil. Dalam penelitian ini, metode TOPSIS merupakan metode terbaik. Many educational institutions whose requires students carry through internship both vocational school and university level as one of terms to complete their education. The student must seek a company that accept internship student. One of the companies is PT. INTI. PT. INTI has opened internship student since 2007. In this recruitment, must be obtained by competent students that students who have the necessary skills to the needs of the company so that students will be responsible or completing tasks that have been provided by the company. So be made decision support system for got responsible and qualified internship students who fit in company requirements. This decision support system used Weighted Product method (WP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution method (TOPSIS). WP can use the actual value in deciding rating every alternative in every criteria, while TOPSIS considered to be quite intuitive based on the distance and the best solution. These methods can decided weight value for every attribute, than continued with the process of ranking the alternatives. Both methods can recommended the best internship student based on the calculation of each method. Based on this research, concluded although TOPSIS has a higher level of complexity that is 8 while WP has a level of complexity is 5, but TOPSIS has a higher level of accuracy that is 73% while WP has a level of accuracy is 67%, and WP has a higher a level of performance that is 100% stabile while TOPSIS has a level of performance id 80% stabile. In this research, TOPSIS is the best method.
