Abstract
Generasi Z sebagai generasi digital memiliki ketergantungan tinggi terhadap media sosial, termasuk dalam mencari informasi produk skincare. Akun Instagram @tasyafarasya menjadi salah satu sumber konten review produk perawatan wajah yang banyak dikonsumsi oleh Generasi Z. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terpaan konten review terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi produk skincare. Variabel bebas meliputi frekuensi (X1), durasi (X2), dan atensi (X3), sedangkan variabel terikat adalah pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi (Y). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel sebanyak 400 responden diambil melalui teknik purposive sampling, yaitu Generasi Z yang mengikuti akun Instagram @tasyafarasya. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner daring dan dianalisis dengan uji korelasi serta regresi linear berganda melalui SPSS versi 25. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi (r = 0,860), durasi (r = 0,925), dan atensi (r = 0,896) memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi (sig. = 0,000). Uji regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat (sig. = 0,000 < 0,05). Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,886 mengindikasikan bahwa 88,6% variasi kebutuhan informasi dipengaruhi oleh frekuensi, durasi, dan atensi, sedangkan 11,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa semakin sering, lama, dan fokus seseorang dalam mengonsumsi konten review, maka semakin tinggi pula pemenuhan kebutuhan informasinya. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman peran konten media sosial dalam pencarian informasi yang edukatif serta menjadi masukan bagi influencer dan pelaku industri kecantikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas konten. The Instagram account @tasyafarasya is one of the most consumed sources of facial skincare product review content among Generation Z. This study aims to examine the influence of exposure to review content on the fulfillment of skincare product information needs. The independent variables consist of frequency (X1), duration (X2), and attention (X3), while the dependent variable is the fulfillment of information needs (Y). A quantitative approach with a correlational method was used. The sample consisted of 400 respondents selected using purposive sampling, specifically Generation Z individuals who follow the Instagram account @tasyafarasya. Data was collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using correlation tests and multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The correlation test results showed that frequency (r = 0.860), duration (r = 0.925), and attention (r = 0.896) had a significant relationship with information needs fulfillment (sig. = 0.000). The multiple regression analysis indicated that the three independent variables simultaneously had a significant influence on the dependent variable (sig. = 0.000 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.886 indicates that 88.6% of the variation in information needs is influenced by frequency, duration, and attention, while the remaining 11.4% is influenced by other factors. These findings confirm that the more frequently, longer, and more attentively someone consumes review content, the higher their information needs are fulfilled. This research contributes to the understanding of the role of social media content in seeking educational and relevant information and provides insights for influencers and beauty industry practitioners to improve content quality.
